Large ESIs dropping a lot.

Anyone else notice a huge increase in large ESIs dropping the past month or 2?

I'm not complaining at all. 600%+ markup on a 90 ped global sure does help the wallet. However, it's an interesting loot move and I'm just wondering what everyone's thoughts are about this.

Prolly not to far off the mark.
My guess was so they could have the ubers reinvest the sales by buying the initial stocks with profits from skimming a few skill levels off the top..

to make it look like Ma is worth investing in...

Nerfing a whole market? Probably not.

However, manipulating one companies stock value via tactics such as Book cooking, pump 'n dump, and other happy funtime activities? All are possible to companies and executives with no scruples.

I used to work for a company that did that. The crash was spectacular, and I'm glad I was laid off by then. The embezzler that nicked some of my retirement needs his balls removed and placed in a jar someplace... for a start.

Serious:

You can.

It's done by reducing float and controlling the rate of new shares being released. Including Employee shares by setting lockup on them.

Even a stock buyback is possible.

With the current crisis at the stockmarkets IPO's will become less likely as you need a really big partner behind you to go public. And Basically have the first 3-4 quarters covered with planned successes already.

I don't think MA knows what they will work on next month, let alone they are able to plan 3 quarters ahead and execute accordingly.

Shareholders are brutal, life is tough in the free stockmarket. Been there, done that, won and lost the shirt(s).
