There should have been some pedders in my runs as well. But not a single one. Loot was always below 6 ped except when I globalled. So instead of getting with a rate of 2.5% loot in >=C3, I've got globals with a rate of 7%.

The test was rather amusing. The first mob I killed was a global. However, when I logged in, I was still in the area from the last WOF. I left it several days back with about 15 kills without any high loot.

Since some avas have the impression that there is an area effect, couldn't it be such, that the area/mob follows a loot pattern. I personally do still think it's an intra Ava effect that might be related to area.

The number of times i've logged out due to bad returns and logged in to hit a global or big drop is quite high.

Those are the interesting ones. Although the model is not suited for mobs with HP<1000, we can speculate with it. The 648 D2 would come from class C5 and is quite rare. It corresponds to a 1.5k Hof on Ambu Y. The 125 D2 and 148 W2 might come from C4.

Do you have also some numbers on how many kills you needed to get a global?

Well i output 6155 PEDs for the hunt that included the globals i left in the quote (Tuesday and later), so at an eco of ~2.87 dmg/pec that means 1.8M hp damage. Say average drone hp is 360 (midway between 02 and 03) and average warrior hp is 550 (gen 02), and that there's an even distribution. (360+550)/2=455 and 1.8M/455 = 3956 kills. 17 globals during that period gives on average 233 mobs/global, but they were definitely not uniformly distributed. I had a rather severe down period preceding this, too.

Sorry i can't be more precise.

Oh, there might be a global or two that were missed. :/ Tracker has been better lately, but i'm not sure if it caught them all. I think that's all of them, though.

Edit: I wonder how loot is determined for beacon missions. It might be interesting to compare those, but difficult due to the rarity of globals on them. Check out this run: Incredible Beacon Mission and you can see another case of grouping/patterned looting.

well that's enough. Would give a global rate of about .4%.
IF C4 is similar to hp>1000 mobs, then this would imply that loot > 3HP/1000 PED is triggered in 10% of non empty kills. But thats a pure assumption atm.

...are you absolutely sure about predermined classes?

I mean there is no change of these classes being just kinda side effect of using just one formula and stack of multipliers when loot is calculated?

In the case of beacon missions the loot multiplier is most likely determined once for all the boxes. Therefore if you get a box global, you most likely get globals on most other boxes in the same beacon. This is not a matter of grouping, unless we believe that the loot multiplier is calculated for group of mobs and not mob by mob.

I agree. The question is whether that grouping is due to a factor set for that "species" or that "kill". E.g. in comparison to the grouping of drones and warriors in my hunts.
