Info: Combibo Youngs and M2200

I'm not much of a hunter any more as I mostly hang out at the Swamp Camp healing and casting Focus bubbles on the sweaters.

But yesterday one of my society mates when on one of her first hunts with the TT pistol.

It was impossible for her to kill a Combibo Young with the TT pistol due to the regeneration rate.

This is a noob weapon vs a noob mob. You should be able to kill it.

MA needs to tweak this regen stuff.

MA stated that they changed the combibo (aswell as other mobs) into a more challenging mob.
So apparently it is not just another noob mob anymore.
However, i am sure he will be able to tackle once he gets more skills and is able to use better (L) guns.

I dont know if you tried hunting a combibo young with the TT pistol before the change?

Was almost impossible to kill them with the TT pistol even pre VU, even maxed. Even with an amped Opalo it was not a very economic kill.
It's a noobish team mob now and I really do not understand whats wrong with that.

Thats the problem, people arent easily pleased anymore, a noob wants a hof with his forst combibo, with ammo he sweated for.

I killed a mature Combibo using only an Emik S30 (L). Took some time, but offered no particular problem. They seem to regenerate 1 hit out of 4, so it only takes 30% or so longer to kill them now. Note that I have maxed the pistol and have enough health and Evader to pretty much ignore the MOBs attacks.

Saying that an unskilled avatar using the lowest dps weapon ingame could not kill it doesn't really say much imnsho. I always recommended to my disciples to start off with the Opalo as it has more range and double the firepower. I also told them to start off by only killing young Snables or Saba as these MOBs have less than 20 health. A Combi always had around 100 health so was too tough for a new arrival to solo with the TT pistol (M2100 BTW).

i think its the best thing that happened to EU , dont need to say more, just look over a half year.

small combi are still killable with opalo or tt-shortblade, so no problem with that
another question is the cost/kill with this gear because of the new regen
