Help: Advise for gear upgrade please

Hi.

I am going to upgrade some of my gear next week and want to hear some opinions about what I have planed so far.

What I am using at the moment:

Armor:
Shogun
Kobold
Gremlin
Ghost
OJ

Plates:
1b, 2a, 3c, 5b, 6a, 6b

Weapon:
Eco hunt (not verry often) : Korss H400 (150% markup)
Normal hunt: Isis hl6 (L) (150% markup)
High regen hunt: Isis hl8 (200% markup)
Tagger: A-3 Punisher Mk.II

Attachment:
A102, A103 x2, A104, E-13, E-15
Alekz Precision Scope, Abrer Laser Sight x2


OK, so to what I have planed to "upgrade" too:

Armor:
Solir (L) for the occational hard hiting mob hunt (read as event armor)

Plates:
Possible 4a

Weapon:

EWE EP-41 for normal hunts, I am realy looking for a decent gun to use even for my lvl that is not (L), I realy like (L) weapons but to run and pay markup for a gun for every hunt and sometimes not beeing able to find a hl6 or hl8 at auction either att all or for decent price sometimes makes me do something else than hunting for a while. I also want an unlimited gun so I can calculate my cost easyer. I am too lazy to check the decay on the gun when I cant repair it

Marber echo/bravo for tagging. I have not decided on which one of the 2 yet, probably will depend on what price I can find them for. Any advise/sugestions here is much apreciated.

The A105 seems like a nessesary upgrade if I want to change to an unlimited gun.
The scope and lasers might go for an upgrade too, the markup was not to crazy on the higher lvl lasers and scopes.

Oh, I am lvl30 hit and lvl30 dmg, going on lvl 31, probably before it is time for the upgrade. Evade at lvl12 ()
I am using the EMK-2600 and EMK-50 for healing. Starting more and more to get into the eco healing of not always using the 2600.
I hunt everything, but trying more and more to go for semi large mobs that can drop fun items.

I know that the normal sugestion is not to change to unlimited weapons untill you are lvl 65+ (?) but with the crazy markups on the hl8 for example i get close to the same eco wit the EP41 (I think).

So what I am looking for is opinions about this change, am I totaly out in the blue and has no idea what I am doing or am I on the right track here?

Solir is a great armor!
About the tagging part, plasma is ofc great but have u checked out the rocketlaunchers? They have good range and are much more fun to use than the regular rifles

I have plaied around alittle with the rocket launchers, but I was mainly thinking about tagging smaler mobs in a group when I am hunting things that I am not suposed to be touching, as in when everything else than young kill me by looking at the sun and sneesing in my direction (haha, just described a snable, that was not a mob that I had in mind )

Your settings seems perfect for someone of your level, maybe start using (L) fap depending on your paramedic level (fap are extremly important and allow you to hunt something a bit bigger)
I'd not invest in a solir (better take your time and hunt what you can handle with greamlin) or maybe invest in a ghost..
As for going to unL weapon, i say no for now, not untill you get coolness atleast if you cant way a bit more

I gotta second fjolla on this, you should use rocket as tagging weapon, skill they give you are really valuable (even a little one)

Are the 4a really necessary ?

Yeah well the bravo or a 'cheap' fire forge might be more what ur looking for then
About the EP 41, buy it and try it. It's a good UL HG and u will only find out how good it is by trying it out. If u don't like it u can just sell it again and go back to (L) guns. Just calculating dmg/pec on entropiatools or entropedia doesn't say much imo.

The Solir is for some crazy hunts when I join some stupid competition, but I think that I will wait with this one.

My fap lvl is not soo good, and I probablt should go for a (L) fap, but I realy like the speed of the 2600 as a combat fap, 75% max heals with it, so I cant be to far off in paramedic (I guess).

I got Ghost last month, love that armor, especially with the right plates attached

The 4a is not realy nesesary unless I want to go for some acid mobs(?) like the big gravidore, always wanted to loot myself a Vigi armor But this will most likely be an upgrade that I wait with too.

Is there a reason for waiting with unlimited weapons untill I have unlocked coolness?
I know that they get more and more eco the higher your lvl is, but when I compare it on entropedia (hl8 at 200% to ep41) I get about the same eco, especially with the A105 amp.

I try to skill suport weapons now and then, but I dont want it as a tagging weapon , since they seems to pull more than 1 mob. I agrea that the skills they give are both fun and valuable.

dmg/pec does not says much according to me either, more important to me is dmg/sec. But still themarkups on the limited weapons are getting scary.

Ill probably try it out as you say, and if it does not work Ill go back to the limited again.

Get an unlimited Isis hl6 or hl8

Using the EP-41 will kill your PED card. Stick to the L weapons, unless you can afford an unlimited SIB weapon, but they are many K. Don't use the Punisher either, get an L weapon for tagging too, and a Bravo for long-range tagging (I generally just use a CB13 or similar for tagging, just a cheap noob gun really).

If you don't like the markup on the HL8, don't use it, simple as that.

The FAPs you are using are terrible for eco. Try a FAP-80 as your main combat FAP, and look at the L Vivo/Hedocs, whatever is appropriate for your skill level (I would guess probably T15 for you).

Your armour's fine. Vigi, as you say, is a possible option for taking on different mobs. For acid mobs 2c are better than 4a, and cheaper. 4a are better for mobs that mix acid and stab/cut/impact (Formicacida for example). Actually I should get some 4a myself, must make a note of that

On the other hand, since you're intending to upgrade to try and beat me in the Universe Wide Hunting Competition, I would suggest you sell all your gear and skills and go and play WoW instead

with an unL gun you'd have 2 problems, not maxed in dmg and will miss alot more than with a maxed L gun
