Question: Laser and scope with (L) weapon?

I did 6 hunts (250 ped ammo each time) this week with a maxed p4 with a a104 on it. I tried three with laser and scopes and 3 with no laser and scope. My skill gains were statistically even for all 6 hunts some slightly higher some slightly lower but all around the same. So in my opinion they do not add any additional skill gain values. Also loots were pretty much the same all bad but the same lol.
These hunts were on dekiba and combidos.

On another note a did a bunch more hunts same set up on tantillions and got about 40-60% more skill gains each time. Though in general the loots seem worse and the armor and fap decay very high but you do get a lot of evade skills as well which covers some of that higher decay.

Also I used a cheap armor when skilling on tants (goblin) so I get more fap skilling then armor decay costs.

personally i dont notice any difference. when i use a UL gun i usually miss at least 2 times per mob kill, some 3, but for the most part scopes havent given me that 2 misses back. though i havent tried all the scopes yet since some are a bit expensive to try out.

EU is dynamic and so is nerfing.. wasn't it was recently discovered that the known figures for Ava health regen is different?

Those extensive tests show that attachements have an effect. Which we'll never know completely, probably. I always use attachements even on L, just find ones which to suit you and not encumber on decay. Some 1 ped/hunt shouldn't really matter imo.

From my tests a maxed out UL assassin with 2 garguls sights + jazr scope(total 57% skill mod) has something like 1% better eco than without.

1% doesn't seem much but on 10K ped ammo turnover it's at least 100 peds saved.

But I only recommend using the more expensive attachments since they have less decay and higher skillmod.
