(L) vs (UL) at lvl 30+

This will be my first hunting experiment, and since it is my first I hope that I get the data correct, I apreciate any feedback on the result and also even before i start so that I get the data correct.

I am in the hunting competition "Universe wide hunting competition" so this will lead me to hunt different mobs during the time of this experiment. (good or bad ? ( post your opinions)

I started a thread about a week ago about what gear I should upgrade to, and I got lots of different sugestions. This is the base of this experiment. I was using the hl8 and was thinking of the EWE EP-41.

So I thought that I make a test on what gear gives the best result in the long run.

I do know that this test will stire up alot of opinions, so this will be fun for me to test. Opinions equals emotions and posts, so I hope for lots of input in this thread.

The gear that I will be using is:

Armor:
Whatever suits the creeps best according to what I have, that is:
Ghost 5b 6a 6b
Gremlin with the same combinations
Kobold and shogun might be in there too, OJ too.

FAP:
Ek-2600
Ek-2300 (in storage)
FAP- 50
Ek-2600 is my main oncombat fap (used way to much) with the 50 as my

Weapon will be the basics of the test!
How much worse will the EWE EP-41 be compared to the ISIS hl8 with the same amp. Amp will be opalo A105 on both guns.

The reason I do this test is that my theory is that if you spend more peds per kill, you get more globals, and if you do not get more globals atleast you get more items.

All this is based on all threads that says that people do not loot items anymore. People do not get globals anymore. People do not hit big payouts anymore. I think this is due to that people hunt to eco and do not deserve (according to my theory) payouts with items.

I wanted to confirm (my thoughts) to myself that hunting uneco with unlimited weapons will give you more items in the loot. (this theory is my theory so please dont go to hard om me on that one).
This all comes back to that I think that the only way to profit hunting is by looting items with markup. My point of view in this case have been posted in loads of threads here on EF.

So the runs will be:

During the time that I am in the "universe wide hunting competition":

300peds of ammo on the same mob.

One run with hl8 and one run with EWE EP-41.

the EWE ep-41 will be attached with a scope and 2 lasers, according to my thought this should not affect loot, only hit abbility and skills.

I will track loot TT value and markup, skills improvement, and most importantly for me, items in loot.

All will be posted in the thread with the daily markup (only for items).
Skills will be tracked with the skill scanner, and price for the skills will be calculated with the skill calcualtor, also found on EF.

Update on the tools:
Isis hl8 with A105 for half the runs.
EWE EP-41 Military with 2x Abrer Laser Sight and 1x Alekz Precision Scope for the other half
Marber Bravo will be tagger for both weapons when it is needed.

Please note that armor and FAp costs will not be included in this "experiment" since they wil be the same for both weapon types.

I am very interested in seeing the results and the data! When I got to level 30 I was just as confused. It is just crazy the prices for weapons for offer SIB at that point. I had EWE EP-41 for a while, and it did damage just fine - very much like the Korss 400. However, I cannot stand to miss a shot! Might as well throw the ammo on the ground IMO. So I use the Korss as my "close in" weapon. Curious to see how this works out.

how will you be recording the data?

for me, i use a digital voice recorder and simply read the chat window. later i go back and type it into a data sheet.

Since the basic for the experiment is what loots the best and/or what loots items the most I will only record the items after each hunt of 300ped ammo.
TT value will also be recorded but that is easy to find out at the TT after the hunt.

Skills will also be recorded after each hunt, but mainly as a reference point to EWE EP-41, since I am already maxed on the hl8.

Globals, HOFs or other high loots does not matter since it is items that I am looking for.
