Wait for a noob to start firing at a mob then overpower him with his superior gun. And from what i saw (i had no weapon at that time on me so i couldnt help) when the noob didnt want to lose money and just waited, the killstealer just used a standard nontechnique of just standing there in his armor that was a huge overprotection and fire his h400 at a molisk. lol Quote:

Option 1; One event like this is just a wate of time and money for MA to deal with. Maybe if the "veteran" or the "noob" followed the other around for an hour, intentionally being dumb to the other, maybe then Mindark would do something. Or if they got several reports on the same avatar. For a one time event a warning is the most likly punishment, if even that. For repeated or worse cases then I guess a temporary block of a day or two is in order. Banning someone for standing in the way? Unheared of and I bet it will never happen. Banning someone for naughty killstealing? I'm not convinced (unless as I said - it's targeted at one person and not just running around and stealing from everyone).
MA wouldn't ban anyone for something as silly as this, though. You'd have to climb to "claimed he was scammed by someone and MA locked him without investigation" if you want to pull off theories like that. ![]() |

not to defend MA without reason, but...
do you think that MA is going to do a full investigation on this matter or unban someone for something like this ![]() here are some reasons i said this... and understand im trying to streatch your thoughts ok ![]() cryengine2 coming out soon depositing longtimer all the logging to have to run through i mean MA is making money from both players in this situation correct? decay and whatever else. now if one player is banned, there has to be a reason why... i have a friend whos ava has been banned for 3 years for something that he didnt do. he lost hundreds of dollars of items because MA was saving a DEPOSITOR... doesnt seem fair because my friend still plays, but had to start all over. remember the time when MA had the house bug where you could pick up others items from their homes? well my friend was helping his other friend get all items to storage and to keep others from getting anything, he had to pick it all up because the owner was at work and asked them to do such. now MA looked at this as stealing and banned all that were involved with this. at least the items "stolen" were returned, but they items my friend had of his own are long gone in time. like i said... im just making you all think so please dont think i am evil or anything :p btw i voted 3 best reguards and i hope this all gets figured out Lunar |

I asked a question what to do in the future. The support answer was only for future cases. Nothing to do with what happened. |
