Question: CP Advice needed?

I'll support what blackhawk said with regards to atrox+other stuff:

If you're dying @ ithaca, you sure as hell won't survive CP. Unless you like reviving every 5 mins. Think of ithaca as 'dome 0'.

(and there's nothing wrong with eamp14...eamp15...is for special occasions adn on your emergency backup weapon...and don't bother with (L) amps unless they are TT)

Note that I'm not even going to bother to go back to CP till I have significantly higher dmg/sec.... too many bad experiences regarding alpha (where noobs will stand next to me fapping hoping it aggroes -_- instead of running it to the turret 10m away -_-)

advise? "man don t go if u haven t 30 evade, or if u don t have 200 hp" etcetc. Guys really you have no taste at all what mean skill or pay for skills in this game. You got-brought your skills years ago, you played in another game. Now a player must play and pay 10 time more what u pay in the past. What i m talking about? just an example, when i was pistoler laser hit 45,6;pistoler dmg 42,3; evade 24,2 (six months ago) i try to use the chipping optimize tool to figure out how much money i need to hit 50 pistoler hit (combact sense) 45 pistoler dmg (wounding) and 25 evade (avoidance). well i need 8750 ped with a skill gain of 4k more or less. This to move up from my skills, would do u try to calculate starting from evade 14? man be ready to spend 10-15k to be able to use a a fap 125L, to have at least 25 evade, and maybe 130-140 hp so still far to the "still at 174 hp i don t feel very comfortable"
Dear friend listen, my soc mate go to cp weekly, some is better then you, some worst then u, they do team only. Actually this game is not designed to permit you to skill up if u have not a huge amount of cash. That time is over for ever. Enjoy to do what you are able to do. You can compete with the majority of the players in EU but don t try to mime what our skilled friends normally do, kill spider, hogglo, daspetor alone etcetc they came from another game, MA don t want they have competition or the only one can compete must have a huge wallet. Make team, enjoy and if don t work go to have a beer with your friends, all the rest is bull&^&%hit*.
(and with this post i start the short way to be banned for sure)

I agree with E-amps, they are for sure not worthless.
My guess is that 99% of those that ditch them, havn't used them (long
enough) to see the positive side of them...

I made most of my skills after the so called "nerf". I had many chips, but the amount of natural skills is more than you can immagine. i know many people managed to skill naturally in 1 year to a level 30 evader and the ability to use high DPS L weapons and make profit with them. They took one step at a time tho and did not rush on CP after one week of killing snable...

So my point is that if you want to, it will be possible to hunt anything at some point. You just need the will to do it. Money... they are good to have, but they are not a brain implant, and just having them will not be of much use. If you can make an investment to improve your avatar, do it. If you look at it as "spending" and you have the feeling you get nothing back out of it, find another game. You are in the wrong place. My advice would be to be aware of your level at all time and play according to that. You will do just fine. If you go to much up, you will lose. if you go to much under, you will not gain what you could.

If you are here to have fun, think if is fun for you to die 20 times/hr. If it is, go kill whatever you want. You will not get to many skills and will lose peds doing so, but damn... is fun. If you had a brain implant first, you can find some better things to do with your time.

Gl all and stay alive longer....

So this guy asks for opinions what skilllevel and gear is recommended for CP. Lot of helpfull replys here, we are not supposed to share our opinions? I am not entitled to share that at my HP / evader level i still don't feel really comfortable up there?

About skilling up, yes it is hard, very hard and it is supposed to be that way. Impossible? For your information: 180k skills, 174 HP, one month short of commando, all natural and the vast amount after the last skillgain nerf. Timeconsuming? You bet. Costs to play: Zero.

Whats my point? It was exactly learning from threads on EF like this, over the last 2.5 years, that helped me an lot. Older players that shared experience, opinions. Saved me probably an lot of bad and expensive experiences. Again, what the heck could be wrong with that?

Vs Kretlins Ghost suck... If you plan on beeing in dome4 only, then Ghost is better...
