it makes perfect sense to be skills-related, as long as it is implemented correctly. i mean, if my skills say that i must miss 15% of times, that's perfect.

the problem comes when, under the same conditions, i miss more than the rest of the players, for reasons other than my avatar skills or my IRL aiming skills.

as with everything else in EU, if everybody experienced this bug, and everybody was missing the same rate, it would be ok as well. the problem is when some people don't have this bug, and others do. this gives an enormous disadvantange to the latter group. it is like buying ammo 10-15% more expensive than the rest.

I guess it is possible, though considering you can keep the ammo for as long as you wish in your inventory, the peds you bought it for has not actually been used yet, (same could be said about probes/bombes or all items that has a tt value) so it seems odd they ammo would be part of the loot pool even if not used, since it has a tt value.

LMAO
to me, it makes no fu***ng sense to aim (hit-rate) be skills-related, because if I am tareting an HUGE FUCKOFF MOB (like Eomon) in front of me and its big like a hause...Its impossible to miss if I am targeting it...like in real life

so ?

if it were part of the game mechanisms, MA surely could say so in my support cases, instead of simply saying "sorry, lag in internet is unavoidable".

regarding the loot pool, if missed shots remained in _my_ loot pool (if such a thing exists), it'd be ok. if it goes to a global pool, and ends up being looted by someone else, i don't see how this can be fair.

even more curious than where does the ammo go is, how can you miss when you're using explosives?

I noticed when using explosives, some are duds and don't even explode, others which do explode don't do any damage.

At first thought I considered writting a support message to MA asking for my duds to be replaced, until I thought it through, I didn't buy em from MA, bought them from someone who looted them.

Buy explosives at markup, some are duds, others miss.....pay more, hit less?

by "skills" - related, i mean "avatar skills" - related, which is (i think) the same as you were saying: if i'm correctly targeting a mob, and my avatar skills say that i must miss 15% of those "correct" shots, then i should miss 15%, not more.

I have considered that since this game is "dynamic" perhaps my avatar was born extremely nearsighted, mob size doesnt matter at all, however a small observation is that i hit less and less the greater the range I stopped using marbers since i never actually hit more then 50% of the time when using them....

"skills" about which I am talking are "avatar skills", and I posted that in another MMOG avatar skills do not influence on Hit-Rate, your hit rate there is always 100% if you are targeting mob/player. There are no skills saying: "your chance to miss is 10%" there is no such BS
And I think thats how it should work.

Exactly the same here. I feel lucky if I can kill a mob without missing every couple shots (on a maxed gun ofc). I don't think these shots are wasted ammo though - I hope!. On occassions that moment when I miss my shots, two or three in a row, becomes 5 or more seconds long when I can clearly see ammo not decreasing while shooting. Even if ammo is not wasted, it's still annoying as hell . IMO, missed shots are nothing but frustration and should be removed (compensated in reduced damage output or something to keep the current balance) -- so if I miss I will know it's because I'm either out of range or my aim is bad.

(Sorry for a bit off-topic.)

because, from _all_ the bugs i've seen in EU, this bug is the one that can make me cash out and leave once and for all.

hunting in a area with no lag whatsoever, and having 20-25% missed shots with maxed weapons is just plain wrong.
or countless nrfs while mining. which usually gets fixed with relog.. in cnd that bug is really hard to notice but in earth pretty easy...

last time on cnd lost 1700ped coz of that bug
