Where does the money from missed shots end up ?

So, as topic states, where does the money from the missed shots end up, what i mean is the 5-20% of total misses when hunting (of course this number is an appreciation, but represents my misses fairly well). And no i am not lagged, 100mbits connection and it has been the same for the 3 years+ ive been playing. This adds up to quite the sum eventually...

MA states that they only get profit from decay, and technically since the bullet never hits the mob it can hardly go to the loot pool, so lost money in entropia cyberspace ?

Theoretically, when you buy the ammo, the money goes to a "loot pool". What you do with it after that has no consequence other than to determine how much you get back.

Whether Mindark gets their money from the repair terminal or from when you use an item has never been explained as far as I know. But it doesn't really matter much.

i really don't want to think on where does this money go...

because, from _all_ the bugs i've seen in EU, this bug is the one that can make me cash out and leave once and for all.

hunting in a area with no lag whatsoever, and having 20-25% missed shots with maxed weapons is just plain wrong.

I have to agree. Whats the point of using a 10/10 weapon when it will miss 10% of the time?

As I use better & better weapons, this starts to add up... (a lot)

10/10 = 48/52

Those missed shots go to your X-Mass gift, and the molisk mask for halloween. So really those gifts are worth about 1000ped of missed shots through out the year

if it only were 10% misses, it would be awesome!
in theory, 10/10 does not mean to hit always. it means to hit as best as possible; in ideal conditions this has been estimated in 8% misses, or 92% hit-rate.

the problem is that for unknown reasons, certain people simply miss a hell of a lot more than that. MA says that it is lag; some people say it is packet loss in the IP traffic. go figure.

thats why in another RCE MMOG developers decided that aim is players-related not skills-related. So you only miss if you are not targeting a mob/player and you ALWAYS hit if you aim a mob/players. Thats one of deifferences between Entropia and another RCE which can steal tons of Entropia Players.

I have a problem with this theory, as nerveblast uses mind essence.

Last I checked mind essence can only be purchased from other players.

which is the same thing.

there are things you can do to reduce misses, so i believe its part of the game mechanics. at the end of the day the spent ammo/pecs go into the system and somhow come back out so it really doesnt matter.
