How much ammo can you shoot in an hour?

I've been using a Mod merc which has a reload of 86 attacks per min. Theoretically I should be able to shoot it 86 times x 60 = 5160 times an hour
With an a106 amp so it's 16 pec per shot, 82560 ammo or around 825 ped an hour.

Realistically, you can't actually shoot that fast plus theres the time between selecting mobs and healing in between hits as well.

I've found I can usually get between 350 - 450 ped an hour then with a mod merc. Which relates to about 36.4-46.8 attacks per min.

That's almost 50% less than what the gun is capable of!

I am wondering what are other people's experiences of their actually attacks per minute.

I couldn't tell you any figures about my hunting off the top of my head, but I did this test a while back:

It wasn't exactly what I was testing, but I found that at top speed with constant firing it took 2 minutes and 20 seconds to fire 100 shots with the TT pistol, compared to the 2:16 it should take with a fire rate of exactly 44.

That works out as 42.6 shots per minute.

When clicking on the mob to fire, rather than using 'free aim' with a hotkey, it was more like 39 shots per minute.

If I am in event, I can burn 40k with apis (and I did on sunday night - i thought it would be enough but it wasn't). Other times I am more selective of loot.

p5 takes me 1.5hrs to burn through 36k on ambulimax (whatever is enugh ammo to burn eamp14+a104). On kings it takes 2.5-3hrs (fapping, reviving, mining in between) to burn the same. (20k/hour tops)

At CP I can burn 75% manis (the beast only lasts 550pedammo) in 1.5? hrs.

At ithaca I have no problem continuously shooting for 1.5hrs - maybe fap 10 times max if i encounter a domi or alpha in that time

When i hunt i do 100 ped hunts, that last 30 mins or so.
So i think i can burn 200 to 250 peds of ammo i a hour, could be more or less

Ammo alone is not enuf for comparison since blp will shoot less ammo than laser and decay more. You have to add up decay and ammo if you want to compare with blp guns.

For what it's worth... my runs at Atrax Beach are as follows:

P5a + A104 using 15000 ammo
Starkhov AS117 + Beast using 12000 ammo
Marber Bravo + A104 using 4000 ammo

That is what I start with. Of course, ammo is looted during the hunt. Once I reach less that 100 ammo for the pistol or the rifle, I am bingo to base for repairs and unloading.

On average, I am out there for about 90 minutes.

I usually shoot off about 100 ped of ammo in about an hour, maybe a little less, with a Korss....

450 - 470 peds ammo with MM+a204 sounds fine to me e.g. on scips. Depending on spawn and damage potential it may vary.
