Question: Is item spliting in teams fair or not?

OP is partly right about loot system, I've said it before
When you click loot mob, Marco checks your stats (so it IS recorded) then brings down a drop box with all items lootable from that mob and decides how much and what items you get, ok in team he has to do it a couple times, then he hits enter and you get your loot. No loot? He was answering the phone, and ofc I am not stupid I know he has to do it real fast.

As much as I follow the stack share (and split items after) rule since this is the basic rule of my SOC and I chose to join and am aware of the rule. It gets to me that when the team dies except for me and I solo the next mob and get an item from it. This scenario is when I start to disagree with item split rules as I am then the only one making a loss on that kill since they used no ammo and got no decay in the kill.

Unless of course solo hunting while in a team has an increased chance of a solo kill giving bigger loot than solo hunting outside a team??

EDIT: By solo the next mob I mean kill it alone from start to finish before the rest of the team gets back from the revive

Just share it - if for no other reason you save yourself the headaches of having to defend your decision.

Could you have killed the mob on your own ? if not then you only got the item because you were part of the team.

No one realy knows if it is the "luck" factor, tracking of individual losses or maybe MA tracks the TEAM spending and you guys got a lucky global ?

It may have been luck but imo it was the TEAM luck not yours alone.

be the hero and share it. I bet there are some on the team that we really hoping to get a decent loot too.

That beign said I understand your point of view and it seems you are ok with not sharing items in a team so you are (at least saying) you are not doing anything that you would not let be done to you - so that is respectable.

I would still share it and I have done so myself. Was in team hunt on allo - really bad loot - some in team ran out of ammo - I said just one more and killed one myself - got 217 ped global. I knew that must have felt like crap for them so I immedately split the global with them. It was just a good feeling for me, and I am sure them and was the right thing to do. But just my opinion i guess.

When you're not sure if it is a split or not team you have to ask. If you haven't asked you should assume that it IS before assuming that it isn't. If your general idea is to assume it isn't then you are 1 of under 10% that would want team loots to go to individuals (other than people higher skilled than their teammates by a great deal). To justify it with saying that you didn't know is as Sarah said assuming that you can smoke without asking when entering someone's house. If you didn't know then you have now found out that the majority of EU thinks split first before non-split. Now you know so there is no way to justify not splitting imo. The only justification is being a greedy and miserly fucktard...and that opinion is coming from a greedy and miserly fucktard so that should tell you something.

What you get out depends on peds spent(in ammo), your skills (aka right armor/gun/fap) and LUCK !!!!!!!

If you dont want to split a big item then dont hunt in teams.... end of story

Bottom line right there. Team should only really be for mobs you could not solo anyway. Then split items yes, because you would not have gotten that item on your own

If you join a team, you contract to share ALL loot according to the damage ratios over the length of the hunt, and that means usually equally. MA's rules help with this, but sometimes there has to be manual adjustment.

If one team member happens to be dead, you give them a share of a global. If one player kills one mob, and another another mob, and one globals, you pool the loot. If one loots a valuable item (including MU), you share it.

Why does the OP think anyone Swunts at all at Nea's - it's to get a share of any global. Just because there happens to be an item in the loot doesn't change the parameters. How many globals does he think there are, to give balanced loot?

If he kept the item, then frankly, he deserves all the abuse he got.

And because people at Nea's by definition have few Ped, he's not even stealing from the rich, he's stealing from the poor.

I can not understand how some ppl is still going on about BS. No matter how meny times I explain that I did not know they keep going back to explaining as thou I did understand. Read dammit. O and Thanks Drave at least you have logic and understand why im upset about last night. And agreed Sarah Hawkwood its not about the loot actually. its about restoring honor. I don't stand for being wrongfully accused. I have had hundreds of opportunities where I could have stolen stuff of way more value and did not. Hell I even had a shop on down payment and gave it back to the owner after the business went sour side up and I could not afford the down payment. So being accused off stealing because I did not know of some stupid rule that I have only come by 2 times before is just BS in my opinion. Those that still accuse me of stealing can go to hell for being asses.
