Atrax getting more agressive?

Has anyone else noticed Atrax aggroing waaay outside of the 3rd circle? I used to be able to go up and just barely tag them w/ a Mk II and not disturb ones in the surrounding area, but now they swarm like crazy.

Some mobs attach the moment you see them on radar.. not funny when its 5+ mobs..

Ive had this problem and belive me when you five umbarnoid male workers running after you it's not fun. This seems to be one of the many VU changes to mobs.

Yup, I think mobs have deffinatly become much more agressive. Unless u are an oober or have oober items, hunting alone is deffinatly a no no.

Ya.
While some low end mobs are almost completely void of aggression until you are standing on top of them practically, others sense you from miles away it seems.
I do not really mind, although of course it makes things more difficult. I have so far been able to hunt individual mobs in a big group by slowely picking them off with a ff8 one at a time, but certainly that does not always work if they recognize me at a farther range distance.
