The Festival of FirePower reaches its seventh turn at entertaining the good folk of Entropia!

This is the ad for the next FoF, a little tournament we've been holding for nearly a year now. Every six weeks, several teams from socs and stragglers try to out-global each other on 6 listed mobs. It's enjoyed by all, gives rewarding jobs to noobs, relieves tension and leaves you smiling.

The whole thing is based on blasting the crap out of immense numbers of mobs with the biggest weapons you have. It's a furious 6 hours of mayhem.

If your Soc has not entered the FoF before, have a look at this one. I have already decided to have a radical change to the FoF once it reaches it's 10th event. This leaves me free to try out all the weird scoring systems I was going to employ. So it's different again, but the chance of winning is the same, and it should be easy to follow. (Hey, I'm the one counting the scores anyway, don't even worry about how it works) The main reason for trying this version is so there are more points flying around, better totals, better atmosphere.


First difference: There are more than 6 mobs in this one. The FoF Heroes title will still be up for grabs, only 6 from the list need to be globalled on to win this. They must be different species... i.e. maturity differences do not count. (but Drone counts as different to Warriors and Troopers etc)

Second difference: Robots are scored differently according their generation, as are Atrox. And scores are not necessarily representative of the mob's difficulty.... some are "strategic"


Moblist: And points for globals.

Robot-Slaying Part:

Drone.................................1 point per Generation.

Warrior...............................2 points per Generation.

Trooper..............................2 points per Generation.

SEG's.................................5 points per Generation.

This means a Drone Gen 04 will equal 4, while a Trooper 07 will equal 14.


Mob Culling Part:

Estophyl......................................4 points

Equus..........................................4 points


Formidon....................................... 10 points

Cersumon...................................... 10 points


Atrox...Young to Old:...................... 3 points

Atrox...Provider to Guardian:............ 7 points

Atrox...Dominant to Old Alpha:......... 10 points

Atrox...Stalker/Prowler/Elite etc:....20 points


Falxangius.....................................25 points


HoFs/ATH's.............................add 10 points


Like I said, if it seems complicated don't worry, it'll work I think.... I got it all written down anyway


In Any Order, As soon as the start is declared, off you go and hit them with all you've got.

Figuring out where best to start and the looting tactics afterwards is all part of the fun.


Hunt Date: Saturday October 14th

Hunt Time: 18:00 MA GAME TIME

Start Location: Chimera Canyons TP

Finish Location: TI City TP (Midnight we end, see the scores, go home tired)

How to FoF:
Form a team with "FoF" as the first part of the title for scoring purposes, turn up at the start, and off you go! Teams usually number 8-12 and many recruits are taken on the day.


Noobs with faps and a habit of tripping big mobs up so we can shoot them tag along and get freebies for your efforts!

Hoping the scoring will seperate the hunters into those trying to win the day and those trying for the FOF Heroes... no-one chasing a 25 point lead from an early Falxangius (Not that I'm suggesting any team would just pop the main mob straight away ) is going to want to waste time chasing a 4 point Esto.... but those after 6 different mobs either have to go for ALL the big ones or accept they may not get a real high score.... I'm really enjoying seeing how people's tactics work for them... (Hunters Extreme have proved the best in preparation so far.... whatever they do, it works!).

Of course, it also means that a big-spending uber-ish team may well win the day, while a dogged band of underdogs may well scoop the FoF Heroes. It also means Hunters Extreme may just turn up and cream everyone and take both! I urge some hardy Soc to stop this happening!

Looking forward to the battleplans and results of FoF VII.


Oh, Third new rule. In the panic to get it all written down right I forgot this one. It's quite important.

Sniper Registry...13th Warrior
................................... Each team can register one Sniper by name at the start. If the sniper then gets a killing spree Global during the hours of the FoF (18:00-00:00) then the team he/she belongs to is awarded a further 15 points each time.

No rules exist for who they should shoot or not shoot, (but anyone caught shooting up their own team will be disqualified if evidence is presented) just that it appears in the window as a global. ATH's are added the same way as normal (10 points extra).

As it is nigh-impossible to prove they are in your team a Sniper can be-unteamed... the "13th Warrior" if you like. In fact, that's now the name of this position.

New FoF speak lol.... "So who's your 13th Warrior?"

Oh, as a further Noob Incentive.... Useful Fappers/Blockers are getting an average payout of around 50 ped's worth of gear for their valiant efforts on the FoF.... all you gotta do is run round and keep up!

Not to poke holes in the whole 13th warrior twist... But what's to stop a team from having a sniper at the octogon in twin or Billy's and lining up a bunch of noobs to take a dive for a few pecs?
