What am I doing wrong?

Ive played this game for quite some time, for about 2 years I think its been.

My main profession is hunting, always has been.

But why, why in 2 years have I only globaled about 6 times I think its been, All of them being under 200 peds.

Ive hunted Longu youngs to olds, ambulimax, armax cow and bulls, drone gens up to around 5, 6, warrior gens...

ive hunted about everything except the high level mobs.

What am I doing wrong? Seriously

why is it people who are brand new to this game can get 2 or 3 globals in like 2 weeks, but me? 2 years and ive only gotten about 6?

I almost never break even either, recently ive tried hunting with an opalo and a105, even doing that is not getting me to break even.

What am I doing wrong?

Can someone give me links to just... millions of guides so I can see what im doing wrong? Can someone teach me how to properly hunt? Give me pointers?

Now, I know my skills are not high, but jeez, in 2 years of playing only 6 globals? Regardless of skills, I should be getting more than that!

Someone in soc chat said that her husbands 3 week old character has globaled 3 times...

Seriously, what am I doing wrong?

If people have been studying looting patterns and whatever else when it comes to hunting and thats how they profit, well, when it comes to hunting, all i know is that there are indeed cycles, you will either loot, or not loot.

From the many times ive hunted, especially recently, the only thing Ive noticed is that there is a time where i get alot of no loots, and then theres a time where i get loots, and in those loots, sometimes i get good ones. (by good I mean, 2, 3,5, 10 peds, rather than 1 ped, 70 pec... whatever


Someone help me please

Im about ready to just stop doing anything in this game and be a reseller or trader, cause at least there I know theres very little risk of loosing money (especially trading cause all your doing is selling other peopls items and getting a small amount for doing it)

Im getting fed up with loosing peds.




I dont want to make a profit in this game, I dont want to have 2,000,000 peds and withdraw them, I just want to play this game and have fun without having to deposit so much!

Please tell us what weapon you use and what armor? How long are your usual hunts, how many peds of ammo do you burn in a hunt?

Sharing this info will help us instruct you on what do go for next. Generally, the higher the HP of the mob you hunt the better your changes are for a global.

There are good times and bad times for every avatar as you are already aware... But do you pay attention to how the mob is paying in relation to it's normal payout. You'll find times when certain areas and mobs pay better or worse than usual. A global is more likely when the mobs are looting better than usual.

Global frequency and your chance for recieving one seems to be time based as well. Target your hunting time when the game is at it's daily peak of players spending peds.

Lastly, punch the clock. You aren't going to get any globals burning 5k ammo a day... Buy a ton of ammo and go blow up it, i'm talking 400-800 peds ammo in a day. If I were to try and assign a global frequency based on spending, I'd say you can expect a global roughly every 200-300 ped ammo burned. That number may be different for other folks but that's what I find in my hunts on avg. I'm doing minimum 400 peds per hunt and it's rare I won't have at least 1 global in that time frame.

Lastly, buy some mining equipment and when the loots go to crap drop a couple of bombs to pass the time. Give it 5 mins and kill another couple of mobs. If they still suck, mine some more. etc...

EU can be frustrating, just like RL. For a better experience hunting, stick to the Opalo + amp. To take on larger mobs efficiently, and double the power of the Opalo use this secret...invite a friend.

Another observation, in my short time in EU (5 months), is Sunday is better spent training disciples, cleaning out storage, or trolling the auction.

I have about 2.5k in skills average for handgun (yes i know its not alot!)

ive got an opalo, an a105
ewe 40 merc
bravo anihilator for "tagging"

almost a full set of bear (cept shins), but im lookin to slowly upgrade to boar

ive got also 2 lasers and a scope for 30% skill mod

i never really did hunt before long time ago with more than 200 peds of ammo
but lately id do 300 to 600 ped runs (depending on the mob, where i am, and what weapon, etc...)

and yeah, the only thing i can possibly think of to help improve my hunting is when it seems the loots are bad (as in lots of no loots) then just stop for a bit, like 5 minutes, and try again

but seriously, ive hunted quite a bit in about 2 years time and only got roughly 6 globals...

so all the help is apreciated!

biiiiiig no-no. leave it an hour or so if ur really intent on hunting in the same spot. 5 mins is no good, u mite as well not stop hunting if u only give it 5 mins.

It seems to me that you really have not hunted that much, especially considering that you have been playing for 2 years. Granted, I would think you should have gotten more than 6 globals. All I can say is what was previously stated that you need to do hunts in the 300+ ped range

I do one of 2 things:

Stay in the same area hunting the same mobs, deal with the loot droughts, but am also there when the loots pick up.


or, i hop around to different mobs, kill 5-10 of each one in diff places, and then pick a spot where I'm getting a decent return.


both of these work, for me at least

edit: ps i only do 10k ammo runs with opalo/m2100/breer/p2/p3/mk2/ep40 =D

another question. Do you team often? I get many more globals in team than I ever have solo ( i think b/c i ECO hunt all the time!). 2 solo hofs vs 5 team hofs, so getting a steady hunting partner may help you as well
