I need to know wich armor to pick. Eco is important. If I'm going for the Rascal Im going to use 2a plates or what do u think?
My evade is only 300 but rising fast ![]() What should I pick? What plates if any? What I like to hunt or would like to hunt: Ambulimax, Argonaut, Armax, Atrax, Atrox, larger Berycled, Cornundacauda, Cornundos, larger Exarosaur, Feffoid, Longu, Maffoid, larger Merp, Umbranoid |

I would say Knight myself, especially for Atrox & Atrax. Rascal isn't really any good for these mobs. Although, I can kill upto mature easily with just an Opalo & Rascal+2a. But for those mobs you need to be able to withstand quite a few at a time, because they detect you from quite far away, so unless you tag, there's going to be a few.
Rascal is good for Impact mobs, especially with 2a plates. Me and a friend managed to do the Ambu youngs quite easily with just Opalos the other day. I think for the mobs you stated, there's one or the other, armor wise. Neither or armor is good for them all. |

For cornundacaudas, ambulimax, berycled and all the other mobs you like to hunt that does 100% impact I would recommend rascal with 2A plates, and like dom_sufc said with this you could also kill lower maturity of atrox easily and same with atrax
. Rascal with 2A plates protects 20 in impact. |

Knight is better for atrax/atrox. For cornundos, cornundacauda and exarosaur rascal is better. Not sure what dmg types bery, ambulimax and ther others do.
However, Feffoids do cold dmg (not only), so I would stay away from those unless you have some firepower. And if you want to hunt Umbranoids or, possibly, Allophyl I'd suggest getting some 4C armor plates, as they give electric protection and both those mobs deal some of it. 4c + rascal is very good for allo, actually. ![]() Otherwise the 2A plates are probably a good all-round choise, rather cheap too. |

Since i dont really know what both sets M go for and i dont know how much u plan on spending I can't say for sure. But seeing your list of mob, knight would be a good option (IF it's not way more expensive then rascal)...u could still add those 2A no matter what set u get since they give u a nice little additional protection for a small cost.
But personally i wouldnt upgrade until u get more evade since eco is important for u. just my ![]() |
