That's because there are two SIB for every weapon: one for the (Hit) ability and one for the (Dmg) ability. These correspond to the (Hit) and (Dmg) professions for that weapon. For example, i have the long since passed the SIB for (Dmg) on the level 16 grenade launcher (due to Wounding, Anatomy, and other general damage skills), but in Grenadier (Hit) professional standing haven't yet maxed it because the Support Weapon Systems skill plays such a large role in that profession.

The (Hit) and (Dmg) professions don't increase at exactly the same rate, so it's common to have SIB on only one of the two.

When your minimum damage on the weapon is maxed, as well as your HA, it will very nearly be the end of the SIB (it seems to continue slightly longer after HA is maxed as the attacks/min and range hit their final increase.

Hmm my only problem is ...Its not always cost effective to switch to another gun right after you maxed out your current one. IE. I just maxed out my Geotrek 120...Im lvl8 and am able to use the Geotrek 175...but my average DMG per PEC is like .7 worse on 175 then on 120....Is it worth it to go with the higher gun just to skill faster?

Thanks for the charts. Awesome work. As for the question about moving on as soon as a gun is maxed, I have been keeping with the Manis now for a long while even though I maxed it several months back. It is a great weapon. Glad I stocked up before the prices got higher...
