Martial Arts?

I was reading about these forums, wondering if there was a martial arts skill. I discovered taht there was, but I am terribly far away from unlocking it. (Im only around 335 LongBlades, as I just started PE) I have been wanting to learn more about it. Can you fight with the style, how much damage does it usually do, are there multiple styles? I hope someone will know about this.

it is just hidden skill, that u trigger when u reach around 3k in LB, u cannot do anymore fancymoves with it, it just adds some hidden percentage to your ods to kill a mob

Sorry to break it to you but no, no style or anything like that, its just a normal triggered skill that comes with melee fighting the only martial art about it is the icon of a guy in a "gi".

i have 3.6k LB and 2k melee and i still dont have it (will come soon for me though, when my pro standing changes to capable swordsman)

Yup, since with this new skillsystem you seem to gain more main skillgains (IE rifle, LB, SB, hangun etc) you will need a higher lvl in that skill than before to make your proffesional standing reach the unlocking point. This doesn't neccesarily mean you will reach it slower than before, just that your skills will look differrently when you get it

Yes, you will get it at once as you became "Capable Swordsman" (I got mine at 3117 in LB).

My theory is that Martial Arts affect miss-rate.
With this, I think that you hit more often if your martial art skill is higher.
This is not confirmed yet, though.

MA is intact in this version, looks like. Still getting some drops of that skill
sometimes. No idea what it does, but surely something less visible
than markmanship.
