Hogglo hunting

hey guys..need a bit o advice again
i have never hunted hogglos before...i finally have an armour setup which will allow me to survive there....
what would be the best gun/amp combo to use that doesnt require me to sell the car.....ie i mean below 1k
i currently have a korss400 amped with 104...will that do any good?...ofcourse ill tag them with a amped bravo...
any suggestions?

Sounds allright to me ....maybe a FreanD Delta with Beast amp combo.That might be a little better.

I love hunting Hogs, but prefer to team them. I can solo youngs quite easilly but they crit an awful lot and you can easilly get caought in a fap loop where you fap, just as you pull your gun out you get clobbered again for 60 so out comes the fap again. If you hunt with just one other person (team of two), you can kill them and maybe only get hit a few times. Saves your ped card an awful lot in the long run.

As for weapon, Speed is the key mate. you need a weapon that does at least 55 attacks per min. I personally use an ML35 + dante then a delta + beast

get one of the geotrek series guns blp or laser, higher dps than a korss and get a xr80 laser amp or bultak50 amp and you should be good to go.

Ya and team hunt on them is the best idea

I take them with Korss+105 in a team of 2, no worries at all.

If you want to solo them i'd go with a Crista for L, or a Delta/MadIV + Beast for UL.

It is quite hard to solo them ... and they have quite a lot of health ... I would not recomand a Kross against hogolo if u plan to go alone

i tried a few with korss+104...killed about 5-6....even got a global 95 peds.....but as u all said its not worth it with that setup..ill try again with a better gun

Using a FreanD Delta + Beast vs. a Korss H400 (L) + A105 with 10/10, at a 'pluck a figure from the sky' guess, I'd say the two would give equal damage if your HA on the FreanD was around the 5.0 mark.

At the end of the day, the biggest issue in hunting Hogglos solo is the protection and decent Evader professional standing.

I can mange to hunt them ok, at my level, using Ghost + 5B. But it is still a bit of a FAP fest. Stick the odd bit of Angel or Shadow into the mix and the whole experience becomes much easier.

I've had a few runs at them with Jag+5B+EK2600+H400+A106+Bravo tag.

Its quite doable, even two youngs at a time is possible without crits.

But yes, its serious armor and fap decay so teaming them with such a set-up would make a lot of sense. In terms of soloing them I'd say that due to the very high armor and fap costs, economy of gun is much less important than normal. The highest dmg/sec wep you can lay your hands on is probably the best bet.

Just FYI, i've hunted using Korss+105, with another person in the team using MadIV + Beast at around 4.5HA...and I consistantly recieved more loot (stack share). But it was pretty close, so i'd say you're right about the 5.0 mark.
