I really wanna know why is it impossible to make profit from hunts these days.. it annoys me alot

if i cant get global bigger than the amount of ammo i took on hte trip no way i could make profit... even when i get smaller globals i do alot of minus still

and now when amps have changed u have to use bigger guns to use better amps u cant possibly make profit ever... bigger gun means u need to kill biggeg mobs but then u ofcourse need better armor... its like u have to deposit 10k USD
o be able to do anything in this game or even make a little profit.

ive played 2 weeks with my new avatar now.. wasted 200e bought only guns and amps.. i borrowed armor.. ive made 2 + trips and that sucks alot.. and i finished my disciple ship now so have over 1.9k hg so been hunting some a bit

well it is a little whining .............. but the guy is right if it is too hard for noobs to start howlong will it take then when evryone gets its things & just leaves.....

Several ways to profit; with hunting it's either by minimising your spending ( never tt loot with mark-up, use SIB weapons and hunt economically) or maximising (buy best eco weapons and gear, and STILL hunt economically).

Of course, either of these ways takes time; maybe 2-3 years solid playing before you start to break even/profit more than lose. Even then, you will still struggle unless luck is on your side. Until then, you have to face losing. Or......... try to see each win as a welcome extra and play for a laugh not for a profit.

Who said he's a noob? He says this Is his second ava, and hes upto 1.9k HG. Read his posts and you can see he's been playing over a year.

If you don't know the game by then, then you'll never know It.

You quit the first time, now you come back, depo & whinge. Why? What did you expect to happen In the time since you left?

I was a hunter till I hit 53 agility. Now I'm a miner. I got my data in Excel. I can tell ya that tt return was 75%, after last global it was 80%. But my ores have markup that covers looses. Very hard to do this as a hunter. Nearly impossible.

hunting has always been the same and probably will be always the luck of the draw really. either you are lucky or not.. simple.. it has been said before and i will say it again.. you play for fun and not to make money. the only way to make profit is to trade or have a business in entropia and even then its hard.

This is the wrong place to cry about loot trust me on that one. But, some folks can put things back in perspective for you here and keep you on the most efficient path to moderate success with continued determination and development of your avatar. Things come in spurts be it short or lenghty. Keep your nose to the grindstone and keep plugging away. It has worked for me and others I know. Don't expect to profit on every run. Do more team hunts to keep the costs down.

don ur such a retard why u keep bugging me...
i quit with my first ava coz ddint have job and was running out of money irl.. so had to sell everything and got some cash to keep things up irl :F now i have job and i started the female ava ofcourse coz the armors are lot cheaper with female



when i first started this game i easily kept myself in game with the power of sweating.. got even 3 mining global with the moneys i got from sweating then i deposited 20e and got couple of hofs and lotsa globals.. then some of these nasty VUs came and i had to stop hunting coz it ate all my money like it still does even on my new ava :C

yeah i know mining was my main profession on this ava and made trips like u did so it was +- 0 always so it wasnt so bad

but it starts to get boring if u only do 1 thing.. and the hunting awlays been the most exciting thing coz u never know what u gonna loot next
