LOL, HduchC! Your view to this obsession is too single-sided! Man, I startet my LB-skilling with a Katsuichi! These swords are slayer weapons and they make a poor young lady to a menace to all the bad mobs right from the beginning

I know what you mean with this eco thingy. And I am at your side that you should have good HA before using such expensive weapons if you take care for the eco. But hey! All the fun!!!!!!!

preferred:
hunting BIG mobs with KATSU Swords (honors or deters or mix of them, i can support/lend with more blades if needed)

or some other melee skilling ? short blades, clubs and such ...

My collection is:
1 Honor
1 Valor
1 Pride
2 Determinations

Gear is:
Boar + 5B/6B
FAP-80 (so far )

Abilities are:
Swordswoman (Hit) 51
Swordswoman (Dmg) 48 ... okay, 47,7 or so

I would prefer small teams like 3 to 5 ppl

I assume most of us are not that experienced with melee team hunting. So my suggestion is: start on a secure level and let's see where it ends

I love your idea HduchC. Problem for me atm is the money. Coz lack of a serious number of globs and HoFs nowadays most of my swords are broken. And all you fellow sword fighters can imagine what that means.

At the other hand: I'm sure such teams can global like hell (coz of expensive sword's decay and close combat's decay)

Just an addition for all of you beyond 5k LB:
My experience is, that there is a very hard time between 5k and 7k. But there was this VU ... don't remember wich number ... that broke LB-skillers neck. I was suddenly faced to a skill progress of 0.7 points per Det!!! That was a time of depression for me. But I weathered through and now, behind 7.7k, it works a little bit better. The graph rises harder from day to day. I'm at 1.2 points per Det atm. And it seems the progress rate increase.

A glimpse to the future: 8.1k LB wich is level "master" - - will be reached at February next year

So stay tuned! Keep the good attitude and be one of the really hardcore fighters!

I have melee'd for quite some time now, 5025 in LB.

Atm, I am concentrating on Axes for the eco... But going to 'repurchase' some kats to play with.

I would hunt, we could space mob with gremlins or something...

ok, so lets arrange a special melee dedicated hunting team event...

i see we got here some nice hunters so lets aim at big mobs, but.... we must decide first on WEPS SETUP : like a total must have, lets say ... 4 or 3 x "the same sword" , then we will not have to visit repair t often, in team of 3 to 5 ppl it will be good option (peds spend, round time)

I'm at level 31 Swordsman (Hit) and 29 (Dmg) if I remember correctly. About 5.3k Longblades. From time to time I also buy (L) Clubs, but that's still somewhere below 1k.
I use pistols and rifles too, but they aren't nearly as fun as swords.

I would love to go on a teamed melee hunt, but I don't have much money to spend. I usually only use one sword each hunt.

Almost all meele. But had some great times with my opalo and a105 back in the days when that was posible. 4k+ LB at the moment
