Count me in ! I use to be a melee hunter but i am having a break skilling LB because i am not happy with any LB atm :/
New big LBs are cool weapons but are too slow for the way i am hunting, i dont have big armors and need to swap to fap fast :p Determination is nice but i want more dmg/sec... only nano dai might be around what i am looking for but eco sucks because of markup

I am just waiting for a melee amp which will suit my determination

Maybe good melee teams will help me restart skilling LB, i am around 7.1k atm.

I enjoy melee over other forms of combat, but I find it more expensive.
If I had deep pockets, I would surely base my hunting on melee (that is, assuming I hunted at all...As it stands I heal and craft, and rarely hunt).

Ditto. A save all my residues to craft these...BTU's are a pain sadly as they are expensive and hard to loot reliably, but one day I'll have a BP at 100% and will be

. The (L) blades have nice fat tt values so you don't need a dozen of them to have a good long hunt as you would with axes for example. (L) axes would be welcome all the same

I want the ability to use two blades, one each hand. Wouldn't need amps then.

point 1: good point, a high TT L axe would be very very nice. Same eco as Axe2.0 but an real high TT around 1k PED would really be nice!

point 2: doublewhileding would be nice as you can do a lot more DMG/sec, but it won´t increase your ECO. Melee hunting would still be more expencive than ranged hunting. I want MeleeAmps or some new melee weapon that gives me same ECO than Korss400(@160%)+A104 !!!

At current trends, rutics/kesmeks are about to become a really good business due to the recent fall in the generic components. However, there is still a great need for bigger/better melees since the top ones can easily be ignored when it comes to inflicted damage/sec. A hg with 106 or an L amp inflicts double the damage of a melee even there should be a penalty for its use vs melee. HG usage is enforced by the range decrease and better re-use time. What in the heaven's name enforces melee usage but our love for it ? And MA ate a lot of decay on this love of ours. It is time to show us some caring . The distance between the tt sword and the actual nano katana SiB period is huge at the beginning and filled only with crappy slow weapons.
Has anyone thought that some might actually go for the MF+melee variant instead of the usual rifle routine ? This way was made possible . Why is it then disregarded so obviously ?
A noobie has to pay a _._load of peds to skill longblades for instance until he reaches the nano which , even though is a much more powerful weapon, has a lower total value. I know some will say that this is the moment your investment starts paying off but let's face it : Korss400+a105 is a far more appealing alternative.

good luck all melee hunters

I used to hunt few years with melee, with axe 1x0 forst, then switching to Katsuichi Honor and then with 2x Katsuichi Determinations.

at around 7k in LB, I switched back to handgun though, I did feel like my skill progress was too slow at that point, and I wasnt progressing the way I wanted. So decided to raise my pistol at same level at least.

But someday I will return back to melee, that is for sure!!!

Count me in too, i will unlock martial tonight and i will go on. Did guns before but as i fell asleep with the gun in my hand i shot myself, so its better for me to melee cuz i cant fall asleep,

i can but i wont shoot meself in the foot again.

BTW if there is a massive melee teamhunt i want in .

3.9k LB but stopped a year ago due to the sad realization that there is little hope .. not much of a goal to strive towards.. MA needs to change the economics behind melee to make it worth using again.. My skills are waitin for the switch back to melee
