Do you guys think it`s fair that the turret kills the mob with less than 50% health , when you took over 50% from its HP and message appears " loot was claimed by someone else"?
I ask you by whom and why? Loot must be claimed by the person that takes the most HP away. IN this case i think it`s Damage decides. Which is not fair. The turret may inflict over 1k damage, but your peds are wasted on the mob and you get nada, but frustration. I think MA needs to "fix" these problems otherwise the income they get from such bugs will turn against them out of the player`s frustration. Got frustrated by that a couple of times, especially with big level mobs that needed a second comeback. |

I hate when that happens.
i hade when there is a mob that im trying to pick away at and it wanders its own way into the turret. Same thing would happen though if your mob wandered into the water before you can get ot it or killl it. These things are part of playing though. The turrets are there to provide safe zones from mobs. It makes it your responsability to keep a mob your after away from the turret. With the way the radar works and such that can be pretty difficult at times. Basically the turrets have the same radar range as you do measured from the centerline of the turret. The turret has a max range of about 130-160 meters. What this means is that a big mob that you see first on radar (you will notice that if there is an uber mob you will see its red dot way on the outer edges of your radar) where as for a turp or gibnib you might not see it til your right on top of it. That means you can get a small mob like a turp or diakiba alot closer to the turret than a spider or AOA. It is especially a challenge if your using the r/t method of killing large mobs. As you have to keep in mind the turret and plan your approach to the mob accordingly on each pass, and in some cases plan your approach so it chases you away from it instoed of to it. It means also that if your fighting a mob that will run from you after you beat it up a little to make sure you stand between the mob and the turret so when it runs it runs way form the turred instead of to. The turrets are not likely to change the turrets and they way they work have been around for a long time and if MA was gonna change them based on player feedback they would have a long time ago. I think they only way you will ever be able to get loot from a turret even a partial loot, would be if you owned it AND were paying ammo/decay for it. the only way for you to own a turret would be to own a LA. they only way you would get loot from them is if enough people who own land areas were willing to pay for the upkeep and maintenance of turrets. |

But there is still situations where you could exploit it, like if you (or your team) are able to do 51% damage or more to a mob before the turret kills it for inctance. (as opposed to the mob wiping out you(r team) ). (most turrets have a revival near them though , but not all) Also they would propably have to change the rule that larger mobs (supposedly) give loot more often. One rule that i think might work though would be that the items are just ignored and their TT value is payed out as normal and split according to damage. This would remove the possebilty to use it to get rare items from mobs you're not supposed to be able to kill, but still cut your losses if you should get unlucky and a mob wanders into a turret. |
