Question: Boxes: unlimited weight carrying ability?

Hey,

Today I was pondering something. I searched and searched but just could not find anything about how boxes work etc. (and yes...I'm sure someone will throw a box thread in my face and laugh)

So first off a few questions,

So, for medium boxes for example.

Is says they weigh like 6 kg, but hold 27 kg.
So I can carry an extra 21 kg without slowing down in run speed?
correct?

Also, I'm also assuming these stack.
So in theory, you cud have 100 of these boxes, meaning near unlimited kg capacity?

Also, what does the anti-gravity box do?
I couldn't figure that out.
I'm gonna make a random stab and guess that items placed in it don't weigh as much as outside the box? maybe?

And while your kindly answering this, I have another question that doesn't really belong here, but Its much easier to answer here than making another thread for it.

Does strength increase the amount of kg u can hold without losing speed?
And if so, does anyone know by how much it affects it?

No - the storage containers / purses / chests still make you fat and heavy - they just keep your junk organized.

Stackable .. I don't think so.
If you can repair it - it's not a stackable item.

Anti-gravity box is for up in space afaik- supposedly doesn't make you slow down ? Never had one - so I can't confirm or deny.

Your strength I believe DOES affect how much you can carry - but to what extent I'm not sure.

sooooo....if thats true...I COULD use anti-grav boxes to have a larger carrying capactity...but not by anything significant.

Anti-grav boxes reduce the amount of weight an item is by a multiplier.

The multiplier doesn't make much of a difference for the mk-1/2, since it's 0.9 and 0.8 or something like that.

All it does is multiply the weight of the items by that multiplier and that is how much it affects you, so if the multiplier is 0.9, it'll effectively take 10% off the weight of any item in the box.

And your STR does affect how much weight you can carry. It doesn't affect the starting weight at which you start slowing down (170kg), but it affects the end weight at which you can't move at more than a crawl, and everything in between. I believe you can only carry 195-200 KG max when you start out, but I have 46 STR now and the 'max' has moved up to about 210 for me, and the slope at which I slow down is more gradual.

okies...so lets say I go mining.

I collect 240 kg worth of ors.

I place 80 kg in each of 3 boxes.

Now my total kg would be equal to 222 kg. (unless my maths are bad)

there are different models that do different amount of anti-grav-ness
