Question: Are EU players crazy???

HI,
i was just reading the sales threads,
looked at auction and so on...The price of several hundred $ for a
midlevel item is no wonder anymore.A tiny winy better weapon is few k$
(few thousand US Dollars).And the worst part is,that the items are sold at that prices.I think it all happend cuz of 1 mistake MA made.They thought they would get rid of 1 problem by addin a sales history,but got a far greater problem.The only way out is that they start dropin more UL sib weapons/tools.The eula has clearly stated that u own only the tt value of the things,so the owners would have noone to blame if they payed tt+25 k for a ml.
The new ul sib weapons have a big tt,i think not because they are worth 300$ and more,but because EU is struck by inflation,and like IRL,u have to add more numbers to money,or it wont be worth nothing.

So back to my question,are we all,including myself,a bit bla bla

Sadly true. It is all about supply and demand. That's the "dynamics" of a real world economy for you. Except there's things like monopoly commissions and fair trading commissions in the real world

i think such kinds of threads appear once every month..maybe try a search

anyways...people pay high prices since they usually (hope to) gain an advantage towards other players during the ownership of that item. be it higher efficiency or speed or more skills to gain or whatever.

see for example, the % of imp/mod fap owners/mm/imk2 owners who withdraw tends to be higher than from folks using mk2 and ep16 along with fap35. explains and justifies price tags.

In RL i bought my house for 185k today my house is worth 450k so when the guy buys my house and see,s what i bought it for will he change his mind when he considers the profit ill make or will he think about the profit he will make or maybe he doesnt care he just needs a place to live? A few years ago if you bought a MM for 5k u might have thought you could get a return on your investment when you resold the gun not to mention the skills u gained using it .So now you look at its value and u would have to admit that 5k investment paid off quite nicly.
Now perhaps your not going to pay 250k for that same MM but the whole point is you have that opportunity here to make that "choice" . Thats the point your missing i think.
