Which Amp?

Hi

I was wondering which Amp would be best for a Sollomate Opalo. I got it last nite and it seems better, much better than the busho I had previously. I even managed to shoot things and kill them!!!!!! which was a boon!! :-)

more importantly where can I buy an Amp from

TBH I dont know how much they are or where to get them from yet!!!

get them from auction or some players in PA

a101 should cost TT+1 and would be a good start as it uses no ammo
a102 or a103 is a good upgrade

or if you have the peds a203 is slightly better econ than most and if your loaded a204 is the best amp in game but expect to pay TT+1050ish for it.

Note:

A20- amps are expensive but just as good as the A10- amps.
E-amps are crap, go around those
You want either of these:
A101 3dmg (no ammo burn but it still decays)
A102 7dmg (one ammo burn and the lowest decay of all these amps, I recomend it)
A103 12dmg
A104 14dmg
A105 16dmg
A106 18dmg

3-6 all have one ammo burn and then there's the decay(which is only greater and greater the further up the numbers.

I can't see why people want the A203 amp. It's just expensive and that's it. It only adds 15dmg which makes both the A105 and the A106 amp better.

But yes, the A204 amp is the best. But that's because it adds 20dmg.

It also depends what you're hunting and what your skills are.

No point in sticking a big amp on a small gun if you're only hunting exo, combibo, snable etc as you can kill them anyway. And wait until you're not missing many shots as an amp just makes a missed shot more expensive!

With this new system, it will now be good to own more amps for general hunting. Stick to 1 A204, 1 A105 and 1 A101.
Use 4 Opal guns, 3 amped and 1 unamped.
Try to not "overkill"
