LA Events? Important Question

May I ask is it legal to create an event for myself? I mean I am going to create 1 hour event for myself @ one of LandAreas because I am little bored (and I love that every loot I know how much peds I looted...MA could implement this please? Info on a chat about how much we looted in TT like during an hunting event)
Event would be only for me...because I reserve every ticket.

Yeah I know I will loose 100peds but I dont care now. I just wanna ask you is it legal? Because I think if system allows us to do such thing...its ok.

Why would anyone think this would be illegal? I don't recall anything in the EULA that would restrict this kind of thing, and since you pay for it, well... where's the issue?

Analogy: reserving an otherwise empty theatre for a private showing. It would be different if you hijacked another public event to TAKE it private, but to creat(e) one yourself... it sounds like fun! (BTW: couldn't resist poking fun at the typo!)

Yeah, you could do this. Seems like a pretty stupid way of wasting 100 PEDs though, if you ask me

I think there is a rule in the system that if no one is active in the event zone for a period of time then the event is cancelled automatically and a log is passed to MA for investigation. This was discussed last year when someone created events in all four of CND's Biodome Areas at peak time on a Friday night, effectively locking out everyone that did not buy a 50 PED ticket. I would guess that as long as you yourself are active then the automatic cancellation won't kick in.

However, as a separate issue to the legality aspect, you will have to consider the effect on the Land Owner. If you used this private booking arrangement in such a way that the Land Owner's profits (or reputation) are affected, you will find very quickly that the event creation settings will be changed from public to private in the same way that happened in the aftermath of the CND situation.

People did this during the Merry Mayhem event and while a lot of people weren't real happy about it, it wasn't illegal...

I dont think i'ts illegal but you sure has hell wont make friends from it,

for one the LA onwer will only get taxe from one person for the duration of the event.. big deal or not, thats up to the LA owner to decide.

I don't know if the system allows it... but if it is possible go for it. Hell I might try it with the (deleted) LA since the spawn there is not dense enough for my taste. This would ensure I can get all the (deleted) I want in that hour. Tracking what I looted is irrelevant to me. I would just enjoy that I had the area to myself. Does not matter if the LA owner has a problem with it either... as long as you are operating withing the system I do not see the problem.

what if I made "accumulate loot" event ?

How about invite 10 people or so, highest loot, all people put in 2 ped, winner gets 20PED
