Were you aware that most land sales do not involve the ingame auction or an EF thread?

It is an amazing thing, but some people do seem to be able to conduct sales outside of these two marvellous systems.

to be "on the market" the public "market" should be aware of its impending sale.

of course EVERYTHING is for sale..

Then why are you suggesting he only has one possible option? As most Land Area purchases/sales are not advertised beforehand there is no reason why other areas aren't available also.

i am not suggesting that at all i am suggesting that there is only that one made available to the public "market".. (that i know of please prove me wrong)

of course everything is available for sale.. under that same reasoning my mom is for sale to the highest bidder.. but get real for a second..

if the current owner of said "thing" is not actively pursing said "things" impending sale then said "thing" is not "on the market".

unless you can direct me to another owner that has made an active attempt at selling a land area recently?

in game out of game i don't care.. if it doesn't have a "for sale" sign it ain't on the market.

some dude sitting at his computer, salivating in his underwear about how much ped he could eventually get offered doesn't mean a thing to me.

High value items tend to be sold without a big deal made about it. Lets just say there are people who are willing to accept a decent offer for their LA. Why it is not for sale on EF or auction, is not known to me. Call it a private sale if you want, but the point is other LAs besides 43 can be bought for a decent price.

But I wasn't referring to that special case where i was standing in a pub with a LA owner and i offered him a pint for his estate deed.

why not just do all of this yourself, It doesn't take rocket science to run a LA, I think if you were to have partners yes, indeed draft a business plan, but why would you risk your money with strangers. Even with a business plan you are not safe as this is a virtual game and the goods are not tangible, I would like to see that hold up in court if you lost all of your money because someone took your ped and ran.

I faced a issue playing a different MMO, I lost some IRL money and was told to bad, because it was not tangible. maybe I am wrong here but it just seems to risky for me.
