Lazy LA owners?

I went out to CK land to hunt gradivore stalkers last night, I knew where they were because of the forum thread for the landgrab LAs. When I arrived though I was greeted by an empty LA message. The falxanguis land owned by the warrants right below it also did not have a LA message. If LA owners cannot take the time to tell me what is in their land, mob density or mineral wise; then I won't take the time to hunt there, sorry. The gradivore LA seemed like a nice place to hunt ( though loot was utter crap), perhaps I am just expecting too much when I want an LA owner to take 5 minutes and give me a little heads up on what I am facing in their LA.
Also I noticed an LA near wolverine that has nothing but max spawn max maturity falxanguis. Whoever owns this LA is a REAL genius. Even if i could hunt this creatures, why would I want to be swarmed by them? Also you might aswell just remove the mining tax since you would be lucky to get a miner to go to the land; I would give him all the respect I can for slogging through my shitty LA. I mean come on people, how creative is it to own an LA and just set everything to max spawn/maturity. WOW! reall A+ in creativity with a lot of the land areas out there. If I owned an LA I would certainly take the time to run it right like good ones out there *cough CND, TI cough*.

Welcome messages cannot be added to Land Grab Areas. It is not laziness, it is simply a lack of functionality.

First off, anyone who would go into that LA and not bring an ultra long range tagging weapon is an idiot so max density is not a problem for an experienced hunter.

Secondly, there are MANY of us who CAN kill those mobs and the only chance we get to kill those mobs is the 6 months every two years that the Land Grab LA's actually have mobs on them.

For at LEAST the last year many of us players have been waiting and hoping LG would come. even if we were not planning on participating (I did not), I have been rather excited about the fact that there will actually more than 4 mobs that I would consider challenging to hunt.

What it boils down to is, while you have a right to your opinion, these socs who set to max maturity and max density are VERY smart. They know there is a very well funded, equipped, and skilled section (LARGE section) of us players who will spend tons of money in these LA's for the short period of time they are under player control.

Watch the globals and HoF's on mobs sometime. I think you will see that quite a few of the ones that go by are for mobs that are only available during the time that socs control the LG LA's.

That is interesting, so why is it that I can go to let say TI click on the Flashing golden "I" and all the info abot the area is there. Mob locations directions and so on. But the new LA's dont seem to have any updates . Is there a delay or is an update needed. I am not ranting just curious.

Because TI isn't a LandGrab area

As SuperKanjo said, it is because TI isn't a Land Grab Area.

There are two types of Land Areas in Entropia:

Avatar Owned Areas:
Treasure Island
CND Biodomes
Emerald Lakes
45 Outback Land Areas

Society Owned Areas:
19 Land Areas available only through the Land Grab event


The 19 Society Owned Areas/Land Grab Areas are the ones where welcome messages are currently unavailable. Avatar Owned Areas are not affected by this problem.

My first reaction on this post was: YEAH you tell em Venture.

But after reading Kaiser's reaction(and a few others), i must say: It doesn't sound like lazzyness of Land Grab winners to me, but Lack of functionality on the LA's won during the Land Grabs.....
