Help: The impossible dilemma

I was approached the other day by one of the most impressive Armax bulls I have ever seen. He told me he had decided to move his harem to Amethera, to the vast plains between New Oxford and Emerald lakes. He had noticed I owned both the land areas there, and told me he would let me choose to which one he should move his cows. Refusal was not an option.


To me this was an impossible question. If I let them move to the Exa land it would surely lead to starvation and extermination of the exarosaurs already living there. If I propose the Longu area to the north the Longu would surely decrease in numbers although some would probably still be around.

I therefor forward this question to you as I really can not make up my mind as to what directions to give to the armax bull king.


Here are the pro´s and con´s I could think of:

Alternative A - Exa land : Would lead to extermination of all Exa. With only 1 DNA with armax cows and no other mobs the area could end up to be rather deserted. Big mountain in the east part, otherwise flat. Long line of sight on most the area.

Alternative B - Longu Stalker Land : Would leave both Longu and Armax at the same area. Mixed mobs of similar siza and damage giving a bit more for hunters to shoot on. Pretty flat area with medium line of sight.

Alternative C - Longu Stalker Land w. extermination : It would also be possible to hunt down the Longu to extinction to make room for armax here, although quite the brutal alternative.

So which should I choose?

I usually make every weeks event at exa land and have also skilled a lot in the land area. I am simply answering in a selfish way, not necessarily for the benedfit of the game. I don't know what the land income would do, but I would visit it to hunt the cows. I am so very far from uber but I have surpassed Exa's for my "main" hunts. This would be a land area for a regular player after 1 year or 2 with some ghost, 5b's and, a decent fap, and a decent gun. Its also fairly easy to reach and alot of the people trained through exaromania are comfortable with the location. Id like to hear what other long term or regular event participants have to say about this. I know I would make it one of my more frequent hunting spots.

It could be, but the difference in difficulty from exa to armax stalkers would probably be problematic. I believe agroed armax stalkers would make hunting quite tiresome for exa hunters, and likewise for armax hunters the red dots popping up everywhere would make the search for armax even more difficult and annoying.

I am putting this out there to get feedback though so if you feel different please let me know.

I just did a mining (ore) run through this Exa land and found nothing of value. Just to give me extra incentive to keep from going back, you could place large armax there. I won't be going through in gnome + 5As anytime soon.

Sheesh. I just read what I wrote and it sounds quite bitchy. I still want to keep the same idea of Exa extermination, but I think it might be better to wait until you're able to give more density to the LA.

i voted to mix them with the longu. no matter how many people are in entropia and how skilled they are, there will always be people that want/need a high-level low-end mob land. exoland is a place that many a players spends a chunk of time working their way to the big hunts.

longu and armax seem a good mix. pure armax, not so abd either, but a mix imo is always better. (if the mix is good)


edit: if the exo land was replaced, i am sure a new one would crop up. with that in mind, it would be nice to make it into a dedicated armax land. perhaps try to add more dna (in time)

i voted longu simply because you always have the other longu land(near rei's) for pure longu hunting Oh Qetesh could you also add some mining info on the popup when entering your LA's, it would be nice to know what i might find there!

I like option B i think a nice mix of Armax and Longu would be a great hunting Area
