The problem is that the density of sabas is low for a hunter, besides there are many sabas south-east from oshiri. But apart from many la yours have a great combination of resources, and more over it is surronded by strong mobs, leaving too little space to mine around it. And sabas... You want to make la good for both hunters and miners, of course you want to maximise your profits, but there is a saying: if you run after two hares, you will catch neither... it's now difficult too mine in this la, and for a hunter, he'll have to run around to kill some sabas, while this mob is not rare and very popular. I would understand if you inserted letomies or frescoquadas
But maybe you right, maybe those who stayed in the la will bring more profits by hunting/mining, than you had with miners only.
Good luck.

I don't think you actually told anyone that you'd added Sabakumas, did you? People won't hunt them if they don't know they are there

I haven't been up there, but if it's like others have said then the Sabas seem a bit pointless. If you had more DNAs it would be more interesting.

It is true that we never said anything about the Sabakumas, for 2 different reasons. The element of surprice often draw out the most honest comments, as we have seen in this thread. And due to our ongoing event we wanted to add an extra feature half way into this event. As new landowners we try different things to understand how and what works best. Best way to learn is to listen to everyone that is more experienced...

So now come the hard part, to make Sabakuma a liked mob in the Molisk Mine, or to pull it down... But hey, every cave needs a scary worm.

I've never had an la, but looking on Quetesh la in Switzerland, I guess it is possible to make the mob spawn not on the whole territory of la but in the designated part of it. So for example you could spawn sabas in the east most part near the water. And also, if you don't want to scare miners, you have to insert dna of a low aggression mobs like (molisk, exa) trilomite, bristlehog, allo, longu. Sabas have very high aggression. You can check it on entropedia. Allos would be great, they won't be that annoying.

Switzerland is built up in a different way, just like Treasure island or CND. In theese areas you can choose where to spawn your mobs. In LA43 that is not possible. Wich is a shame.... The reason we put in Molisk was just because of miners, it is a low agro mob that will leave miners to a peacefull state of mind. The Sabakumas was due to a public request, and the last word of what will happand to theese beasts are still not said.

I think your daily LA income should say enough?
Can't imagine that it got better since you introduced the saba's.

The strange thing though is that when we first bought LA43 the first ideas from the public was just Sabakumas in high maturity.
So, we will have to see how this plays out, we dont want to make anyone run away from our area, but at the same time we are trying to make different people, both hunters and miners, come and see what we have to offer.
If the Sabakumas make alot of people run away we have to do something against it, but we will let a few weeks pass so we can see the differens, if there are any.
So, for right now, we offer everyone hunting of young-scout Molisk and high maturity Sabakumas to a tax of 4.3%. The mining is also lowered for the miners, down to 4.3%. As earlier said we can offer Langotz, Platinum and Ferrum nuts as a few examples.
Good luck to all and i wish a big tower for all! (Time to learn screenies....)
You can't make everyone happy. Hunters need density, not just few mobs in area. Miners do not need mobs at all. You have already 2 miners in this thread who quit mining there. I can tell you about another two ppl who WERE mining there... but do not do it now. Analyze what mobs u have around your LA. Do you think that ppl who go hunting oculuses or sumimas will pop in to shoot few big sabas? And think about resources u have there. They are quite nice and could attract miners. Not that it's the only are with langotz or niksa, keep it in mind... Yes, LA with big sabas could be nice for hunters... For a week or so, as a new thing to try. But later hunters will go elswhere and since miners will be already gone, your LA will stay empty. And so will be your pocket. But hey, it's your peds you loose, not mine, so GL with this.

And all you miners out there if u don’t want to come up, that leaves more ores for me… thanks for that =o)
If you like some action, more mobs should be fine for you. Just take your gun and ammo, what's the difference within killing two or two hundred? Don't be such a baby...

So wouldn't you have enough "action" with moli? You really need sabakumas eating you from behind all the time? Moli were ok there, if someone wanted to waste some ammo during mining run, they provided just enough "action" factor.

my opinion is that this LA is fcuked up for miners now - molisks were pain in the ass but now sabakumas - that's too much. It would be interesting to see if there actually is someone hunting tthese otally not-rare mobs at the end of the world.
