Simple poll really, keep the merps or not?

I was once mining there and didn't look where I went and..

Came back only to see myself surrounded by tens of merps.. I could hear my armour cry in despair for mercy.. pec by pec it crumbled around me.. Merps screaming in agony as they fall one by one in the blaze of a scorching laser..

End of story.

I think they are a bit on the way while you mine down there..

it was the single reason why i hunted there only once.

i abhor ankle biters, especially the overly aggressive ankle biters designed to do little more than distract me from what I'm actually interested in hunting.

they are little more than a critter who's single purpose is to have you intentionally throw ammo at in order to dispose of the nuisance.

I don't go there often enough, but merps are in general annoying. That being said, if you want to hunt merps, where will you go if you take them away?

ok poll atm is 3 - 10 against the poor merps atm

Looks like I'm in the minority but I liked the Merps. I hunted there from level 39 to level 40 to get Coolness. It's a nice alternative to hunting tants for skilling - not quite as good for skills, but they drop better items than tants.

Hmm 18 - 31 is the current score ...some ppl like the merps but it seems like this weekend will be the last days a merp will walk on storm land.
