Berycled Land

Hi everyone,

OLA14 has returned to it's past incarnation of being the place for big Berycled. It has also been renamed to Berycled Land. This thread is intended to keep you all up to date with whats happening on Berycled Land.

The land area is located north of the new Akmuul Island tp:



There are currently 3 Berycled DNAs set to maximum numbers and maturity (mainly Old Alpha - Stalker).

In addition to this there is 1 dormant Longu DNA and 1 dormant Atrox DNA(min numbers and maturity).

Tax on the land is 4.7% hunting and mining.

Some of the mining finds on the LA are:

Ores:

Blausarium Stone
Cumbriz Stone
Kanerium Stone
Terrudite Stone

Matters:

Angelic Grit
Ferrum Nuts
Lytairian Dust
Typonolic Steam

There is a shopkeeper near the shed with ammo (small and med BLP/Laser) and bombs/probes at tt price. If you have any special requirements (such as big stacks), then let me know. It's restocked daily (sometimes multiple times a day).

I've added a 3rd Berycled DNA as the spawn was too thin and ment too much running and not enough killing. It seems the corners are best (or worst depending on your point of view) for getting swamped.

After the success of the free event last Friday (gratz to the winners) there are 2 more free events setup, 19:00 Sat 26th and 19:00 Sat 2nd June. I'll post links to the threads once they have been created.

So glad to see this thread, I used to hunt big bery's south of Emerald, but they have been replaced by oversized longus that smack like Mike Tyson.

Flying to CND seemed the only other option to find them, so happy to have them down on fair Calypso.

Will definately be coming to visit and hunt the bery's.

Maturity goes down.
i use to hunt in this OLA a lot and recogniced that there are allmost no more stalker.
2 weeks ago u saw lots of stalker and once in a while u saw a plain Alpha.
now u see just a few stalker mostly Prowler and old Alpha and some plain Alpha and once in a while u see a dominant.
so i think the maturity is down to 9 / 10

Does anyone know if Trabin is still about? I went to hunt on this LA last night and it has fallen into disrepair - also Trabin hasn't logged onto EF in a couple of months. Shame because this was a great area for big berys

I went there the other night and found about 4 Berys. I killed more Equus than anything. It's such a shame to see a great LA go like this. Wonder if Trabin would consider someone taking on the maintenance... eg. me

The station is filled with fertiliser again. At the moment the settings are max density, minimum maturity Atrox for the duration of the Merry Mayhem event.
