the ubers will only have to kill you once in every 5 mins instead of 5-10 times, will make it alot easier for them

Other way around too

I think it will help kill really tough players. If there is no penalty 2 massive ubers could hold the claim, because when one is death everybody focus on the other and when he is dead the first one is back.
Now you can focus on a big target and when he is dead you have 5 minutes to clear the rest.

So the instakill weapons become more important and they are useable by all kinds of players. Numbers become more important now. You can't rely on a few ultra ubers now anymore.

It helps the strongest players. The less you die, the less you spend time dead. Me being a LG noob, dying a lot, I could spend an hour dead with a bit of bad luck.
Star died twice (I think) in the entire LG. The first time took like 2 hours. During that time, (almost) every other player at LA04 had died at least a few times.
I don't think there can be much doubt who benefits from the 5 minutes res time.

Finaly a right anylise.
It for sure help medium soc with many player...
In the very old system (no penality) , a soc with 3 player at 250hp and mod fap , was total impossible to get... since as soon you manage to kill one , he is back after 30 sec... time to tp...
Now , you have 5 min to kill other... and for sure , the last one wont be so proud if there is 2 min left and he have 20 medium player after his ass...

I think MA balance more and more the LG to give a little chance to evryone.
L item with good stat ( fap , armor , weapon) .5 min penalty , more claim at 1 time, 1 week info so you can take vacation , diferent time for diferent zone,no lag (yes i say NO LAG) for that test phase.

This is great improvement in fun , and open LG to a lot of medium player...yes , you still need work you ass to get a land...

But those who complain , seems to me just are pure whiner ....

It's actualy pretty simple who benefits from this... The penalty combined with the (L) uber PK weapons means that even warants WILL lose their claims a few times, thou other wont be able to hold it either, unless it's a 200man soc that gets the claim at some point, and everyone in soc have TP chips to reach the claim in one jump...

2 things will happen -

1. The claims will change hands alot more than under "old" LG rules.
2. LG will last alot longer this time.

Both will be invalid if all the uber socs makes arrangements to who get which lands... Then it will only be lower lvl ppl trying to get the claim, which they will not have a chance at if the ubers are not taking out eachother... Even with a one shot one kill on Neomaven or vvv with one of the new weapons, the person will then face 5-10 angry ubers who will make sure you will not have the time to reload hehe

'as soon as'? It's the other way around. Three or four deaths to try and kill a Star, or Dreicc, or Rony would normally be an acceptable risk, if you die you can come straight back.
Now you die and your friends won't see you again. They have one less mate to help out, and they die all the sooner.

You were there at LA18. What did it take to kill Skalman, and who died trying? Now imagine all those wannabe's (such as myself) not returning after 80 seconds, but after 320 seconds? Warants could go smoke a ciggie, drink a beer and just check if anyone had revived already.

Why is this so hard to see? There is a five-minute penalty for dying. The more you die, the more you get penalised, eventually to the point of not being able to take part. All the players with Tough health and Eon-class armors benefit from this, the rest are screwed by it.

Yep, agreed. Except the spliting it into two phases again favours the top socs. It is virtually guaranteed that Warants will win at least 2 more LA's. This would be a lot harder to do if ALL the LA's would be up for grabs in one huge Landgrab.

I will bet you 100 ped it won't happen even ONCE on any claim they really go for like they did last test LG.

About those weapons: Who has them? How many really are there? An occasional uber might die because of them (fired by another uber btw), but they will not make one iota of a difference. Another bet I'm willing to wager.
