I think this is a situation that only benefits the top societies and MA. What are your thoughts... do you think its a good idea to split it up or would you like to see all the land up for grabs at once?
Tell me what you think. I think its a bad idea for the underdogs. |

![]() all released at once would firstly have everyone crying that they cant make it due to being in the wrong time zone. Secondly the top dozen or so societies would automatically get a LA without having to compete, with a few others fighting over the LA left over. dullsville. This forces top societies to compete. LG is not supposed to be for everyone. live with it. And it seems to me all too many top 20 socs are already throwing in the towel, which will only ensure the top 5 get more than one each. |

As a society can only claim 1 Land at a time the number of areas any one society would be able to obtain would be reduced. A society might be able to get its first Land Area and then snatch a second one before the claim period is over - the chances of them repeating that for a third successive area though is quite remote.
If all the remaining areas were released at the same time you would guarantee a wider mix of societies that ended up owning them. However, the odds are good that only the top 30 would have a good chance to claim one. Out of idle curiosity, where does the Perseus society fit into the rankings? And would you still hold the same opinion if all the lands were released at a time when most of your society members couldn't attend? ![]() |
