well... i don't recognize the formula right off the bat.

but since i can't see it being a trick problem or play on words, it looks to me like a related variation to the complex equation defining the mandelbrot set... the use of the word pixel makes me think it might have to do with the display of the set itself?

or maybe you're covertly trying to tell me to relax. which is exactly what i am not doing now =P
