Mentoring whinning !!

i didn't find the right category for "mentoring a disciple and don't have mentoring skills besides"

so i'm asking this in "manquant et perdu", i have a disciple who has just ended his training and i did not have skills, is there anything buging ?

I've had 3 disciples graduate so far, yet my mentoring skill is still one. MA replied to my support case with a standard copy-paste, non-commital, skills are dynamic blah blah

Afaik mentoring skill doesn't build up as gradually as others but you will probably see a larger increase after a few more disciples have graduated.

As far as I know you need approx 10 graduates to unlock Mentorship Profession. I've graduated 6 and have built up a few points but not enough yet. The system is crazy and certainly doesn't encourage people to mentor properly ie. to take on 1 or 2 disciples at a time and train them fairly. The system is designed so you go and sign up 50 disciples, treat them like shit because you can't possibly give them all a decent amount of attention. MA should really look into mentoring and decide whether they want it or not.

The system really needs for the disciple to rate their mentor so if the mentor abandons his/her disciple they don't get any skills or a gift.

i have ~40 graduated disciples and my mentor skill is 20 #D

btw, Alice, do you have an idea at what amount of skills the mentor profession unlock now? Is it 2 or 20 or..?

Why I ask: As I did whine in other thread, I had 8 disciples and still have no the mentor proffesion unlocked, my mentor skill still 1 and the skill bar haven't got a single green addition in it. That's all ok, I understand that it's like with a weapon , sometimes you have to shoot dozen times before you gain any skill.

But recently I tried to unlock the Material Designer profession (that was the only still locked one besides the Mentor) by using a texturizer on some clothes. I used it again and again, got lots of texturing skills but stilll no profession. Guess when it had unlocked? After about half a hundred of successful texturing attempts, when the main skill (texture pattern matching) reached exactly 20.

And now my thoughts: what if Mentor profession unlocks now when the mentor skill reaches 20? That would mean dozens of finished mentorships with current progress.
