Wanted Dead or Alive When I first started playing EU I was asking questions in PA when Nuvo Nuvo Vision ask me if I need some help. I said I sure do he then open mentor box and he told me to accept it he then told me he was now my mentor and I was his deciple. He went on to say how lucky I was to have him for mentor because alot of people get scamed on here. He said other players will get you to say yes to their mentorship and after you click yes then you never see them again and at first he did I thought but looking back on it I see he was just helping me to get past the point of me fireing him. I started playing the first or second week of November 07 and since around the 20th of Nov. 07 I have not seen him I have him on my friends list and I am constently logging on even 2 or 3 am to see if he is here but I never see him online. So for all you players going around asking for mentor know who you are dealing with, all that glitters is not gold! All some mentors want is the prize they get after you graduate they are not really wanting to help you in game. I help everyone I can but I never mentor them because just helping someone is enough reward for me. I have said all this to say beware of Nuvo Nuvo Vision he did not mentor me like he promised!! Yet another fucking deadbeat mentor.
MA should put a placard up or something at PA with at least the bare minimum information for players not to make mistakes such as this. AG |

It's just as hard to find a good mentor as it is to find a good disciple. If I could find quality people willing to learn EU then I would spend a lot of time on them. Last week, for the first time in months, I accepted a disciple that asked me to mentor them. They kicked me not long after they realized I wouldn't give them free items to start. It's too bad though, because I would give some pretty nice gifts to disciples that graduated.

I started way back in December 2007. I saw him for just 1 week. Even that was brief to put it mildly. He only took me hunting twice. I have not seen him or heard from him. The last conversation I had was one of him telling me he wasnt loged on Nuvo because he was skilling up a different toon (which is against the EULA BTW) I feel your pain as he has done the same thing to me.

Heres the responce I got back on my support case about Nuvo
I hope it helps someone. 21 Apr 2008 Entropia Support: Hi, If you accept a mentor, you have a short grace period (up to 10 percent of the graduation skills level) during which you can break the mentorship deal, otherwise you are committed until you have advanced beyond your disciple status and graduated. An option is that you ask your mentor to release you. A mentor can choose to disconnect a disciple at any time. When you have reached the target disciple skills you are welcome to contact us again if you still don't get released. We will then be able to release you manually. Kind regards, Entropia Support |
