Imagine just the possibility of SELLING LA to other society or single player, its a bigger motivation for a society to participate rather then that funny 5% tax divided on 20 ppl.

Yet another even from MA turns into a whinefest before it started..

1. Ubers whine about not having enough time to prepair.
2. Noobs whine about not having a chance against ubers.
3. Everyone whines about the lag, before the event even started.

I think i'll capture one landarea for my socc while everyone is here writing negative posts about MA or eachother.

Personally, i dont think the "gifts" to the top soccs are so sure.

There are MANY soccs with the potential to do something here.
Ofcourse we will see a well known soc as owner of the LA's afterwars, but hey.. isnt it supposed to be like that?
If skills shouldnt matter, why do we all (or atleast almost all) try to skill up?

Most post count Warrants as the biggest favourite.. Im gonna bet my 2 cents on AoW.

Well I'll admit forst off I haven't read all of the 10 pages of yet... but this Warm Up aggrivated me so I had to vent somewhere... guess who gets it

First off - WTF is with a warm-up, there are so few areas that will be up for grab that knocking 2 off the top - they may as well just pick the top 4 socs, flip a coin and 2 get 2 don't. It's pointless for 400,000 people to try and stake claim against those who will defend... not to mention the lag that will crush any attempt to storm the claim.

That being said, I'm not sure if the rules for the "Real LG" have been announced - I haven't seen them in detail, but to those who call this a 'gift', should have their heads examined... If the gov't decreases taxes, that's a gift - if the gov't allows tax free earnings on equity investments that gross over $50,000 /yr... it's a gift to very few. This 'gift' if done properly can be great for all - many socs and friends can all win great acclaim and benefit. If this is done in limited spurts, 2 or 3 LAs at a time will focus the lag into small zones instead of spreading it out over many servers. Allowing a soc to hold more than a single LA will divide all of the available LA's among the top few socs - so what's the point in involving the rest of us... just save us the decay and ammo and give it to them.

I understand that the soc with the most power, have the most money in game and 'deserve' the Lion's share of the spoils... they have, after all, paid for it. If this is truly a community event, let the top guys battle over their top picks of LA's - let the rest battle for the rest, and when the winners sit on the field of victory let's hope there are stories of valor and hardship and strategy and teamwork - not (InsertSOC/UBERhere) TP'd in - killed all 50 of us and their soc won thier 5th LA this grab.

All of this aside - I'm excited for the LG - I've never seen one, I joined PE when the last one was months from expiration... I'd love for this to be a very positive experience for a vast number of players and not the inquenchable topic of dismay for the coming months.

No-no-no-NO Please do *not* save decay and ammo. I think I will keep running into one or both land areas to be killed, putting more value in the lootpool.

That makes leaving work early out of the question.

Wauw that would be a decay generator...

Maybe even make a wormhole from TI to bring tons of Noobs near the claimrods and let them run to the claim marker in groups so they can generate some nice amount of ammo used for the loot pool, OK MA also gets the Decay from the items used.


Hm 1000 noobs at 90 hp's = 90K hp's to reduce at 3 dmg per pec = 30K pec ammo/decay per 1K noob run. Every 30 minute one run will give at least 8 times 30K pec = 240K pec or 2,4K Ped spent. Now just how to organize 1K noobs to run at the claims and the wormholers to get them from TI to the LG areas..
