Not only is this being held while most Americans are at work in the middle of the week, but it is also the day before Valentines day. If you are American and have a g/f or a job, you're f#$&ed, unless you blow either one off. Nice job MA.

Besides, if I remember correctly you have to hold the territory for 4 hours to win. You really think it'll be over by the time you get home. On the contrary it'll just be getting interesting by then. the facts are "weekends off" is the common ground for both European and Americans alike (for 95% or greater this would include any westernized nation)
14:30 UTC on Feb. 13  must be whats convienent to the 'company'? everybody is threw with their lunch so they can all sit together in a board room and 'monitor the situation'? For a company that is customer based, Im not sure I see the logic in going with whats best for a handful of staff, versus whats best suited for the 100's of thousands of 'registered' users! and not really complaining here as I would not be able to participate one way or the other... just pointing out what would make sense if wanting to truely "TEST THE SERVERS"........................................ |

It's because most of the player base will be at work or in classes thats its 14:30 on Wednesday so they can limit the number of people taking part.
If too many turn up it will just cause the servers to crash, they need enough people to stress the system but not overload it or they won't be able to get any results from the tests. How can they tell when the servers will break if they're broken before the event has even started. |
