Land Grab Warm Up
11 Feb 2008 The 2008 Land Grab is approaching. Before the main event kicks off, we'll test the procedure with a lesser event on two land areas: Amethera LA4 and Amethera LA18. This event will start at 14:30 UTC on Feb. 13. Both land areas will be up for grabs at the same time with the complete rules that will apply to the main Land Grab event (see previous news article 'Land Ahoy Me Hearties' for rules). Performance will be monitored in order to ensure that the main event works smoothly. The winning societies will be awarded the land areas. Originally Posted Here |

Well this sounds promising
 I wasn't around for the last LG but i'm gonna assume that it was the typical MA event with tons of lag and no thought put into procedure and server strain.. I hope it runs smoothly, and perhaps if the lag is bad, they may finally do something to combat this (aside from adding a new equipping/dying/reviving/logging in tax).
