Same as the Cash Card information, the posting date has been corrected on the official website (it said 2007 before). Bertha, being a bot, probably just thought that they were new, different posts and forwarded them here.

It seems that when MA makes a change to the initial news item (such as changing the date), Bertha view it as a new article, and reposts it here.

Hopefully Mindark will get an RSS feed going for the EntropiaUniverse.com website, which would make syndication much smoother...

In the meanwhile, I'll investigate how we can prevent these duplicate threads. Sorry for the confusion.
