And Radio hits it on the nail, and perhaps also on MA's *now sore* thumb. Giving them the biggest secrets to a succesfull MMO, in what basically is a SWOT analysis of their current situation.

If you don't know what a SWOT analysis is, look it up and you will learn a very easy and usefull tool that can help you in all kinds of situations, not just business related ones.

I'm deeply concerned with the direction this game is going in. All these so called great deals and partnerships. Promising us a larger playerbase and new and exciting worlds and items to discover.

How's bout telling us something about the progress on these past promises? Why are we not informed about the progress with the cryengine? Surely you must have some material you can show us by now? Why are we not informed when the new countries will be allowed access to EU?

Again, as Radio put it, I'm only giving my honest opinion here, blunt but honest.

Oh while I'm being honest, there is one other thing.

This news post contains a classic example of how financial data is manipulated in the news to make a company look bigger then they really are. Some call it lying, some call it creative pr.
Here's the deal: When the turnover of 2006 is mentioned, what did you think that money represents? The amount of revenue MA recieved through deposits, auction sales and ads? Think again. That $360 million is actually the amount of money that has passed hands by trades ingame. MA never had that money, it represents the GNP(gross national product) of the economy of EU.

Their real net revenue is mentioned in their financial report found on MA's website. ftp://ftp.mindark.se/reports/AnnualReport2006_LOW.pdf

And for 2006 it's a little under 60 million SEK, which comes to about $9,4 million or 6,4 million euros. I'm pretty sure Blizzard spends that kind of money on support alone!

This was discussed in the beginning I think. Like "Never say never" or so. But it was mentioned by Mindark somewhere in the early days. (xbox or ps at that time)

I doubt that CKI shares your penchent for treating customers with complete and utter disdain.

Its extremely unfortunate but it would now appear that Project Entropia/Entropia Universe and its "Real Cash Economy" has become nothing more than a failed experiment, a fact that I believe you are only too well aware of.

Rampant inflation is destroying the dream in much the same way that it has destroyed the economies of many a real world country.

A cursory glance at MA's limited published accounts, taken together with the desire to float the company, could lead one to think that certain individauls want to cut and run, cashing in while the going is good and before the shit really hits the fan.

Or are all these partners the aquisition targets for the funds raised from the IPO?

Which, if it happens, I suspect will become a placing rather than a public offering. Might have to tell too many people too many secrets otherwise huh?

Actually i heard a 15-20 sec -blurb on CNBC yesterday. Coarse the marketing at MA has destroyed the media with the only thing sticking being - EU, a real life economy where you can get rich.
