OMFG I love that game! I still almost crap myself every time that damn thing jumps through the window in the attic if you don't push the book case in front of it. Also, the part where he tastes the soup he finds and says it tastes like human flesh... Classic...

I think I'll have to go play this game after work.

I used to live there and have passed through there several times. If you like culture, arts & entertainment, go to Montreal or Quebec City. If you like clean country air and real mountains, go to Edmonton or Calgary. If you like a beautiful city that blends in quite well with the environment and with a view of the ocean and the Rockies, go to Vancouver.

If you like a bustling metropolis, and for everything else, there's...Toronto.

Hmm

Not sure, I should get into the dispute wether Quebec is more art cultered then Toronto.

Basically everyone has there own opinions of the best places across our wonderful world. It generally goes on ones personal taste. Not sure it is necessary to say Toronto is a unliked city. I just thought your comment was in bad taste. If you don't like Toronto yourself personally, then you should note that you personally disliked Toronto.

I think Toronto is a amazing city. Before you even ask the question of wether I lived in Toronto or not, I will answer it for you. Yes, I grew up in Toronto and lived there 27 years.

Long story short, I look forward to being at the Fun Fair with EU mates this coming August being held in Toronto. It's going to be a blast, and from others who are not from Canada, I am sure will have a blast there aswell =)

The more you've lived around in different major cities, or at least travelled to visit them on vacations, the more valid your comparisons will be. I've lived in Montreal, Toronto, and Edmonton, and have spent a lot of time in Vancouver, Calgary, Quebec (all of where I have relatives), travelled to the Maritime provinces...and have seen 9 of Canada's 13 provinces (including NWT).

I've been to Mexico twice, Peru twice, and Thailand, not to mention 7 or 8 States in the USA. Most Torontonians have never been west of Manitoba so they have no idea what it's like.

Granted, that doesn't make me an authority, but it *does* give some validity to my comparisons and observations. Compared to most places I've seen and lived, Toronto is little more than just another big American metropolis. It's a city for business first and foremost.

That's my personal opinion.

LOL ... Well to respond to your comment of Canadians going no further then Manitoba. Your wrong. I have myself lived in Edmonton, my family a large portion on my fathers side is from and still lives in Quebec. I also have done some travelling.

I am not here to dispute with you in regards to who has travelled the most between the two of us. I am simply saying, you should say YOU personally didn't like Toronto. Not say that anyone who hasn't or does not live in Toronto, hates Toronto.

As far as I am concerned this part of the conversation is closed. This thread is intended for people who WANT to go to Toronto and hang out with some EU mates.

Good luck and Have fun =))
