The Support Dept. do not recommend purchasing PED from any source outside of the official deposit options available from MindArk i.e. the Entropia website or the InWorld Transaction Center.

PEDs purchased by any other means may be the result of credit card fraud or hacked accounts, in which case the purchaser of the PED will also be subject to account termination.

Well if u look at it this way...

If u deposit 5000 peds u get a free gold card which is basically the same cost as all of those depositing fees up to 5000 ped

So i see it as ur getting all ur deposit fees for that 5000 ped back in the way of a gold card

but even passed that ur asking to get burned if u buy peds off someone outside of game.

EDIT: Reviewing the above "mentioned" bank owners website again proves my info might be outdated. Couldnt find the exchange rate table any longer.

I think this is a fair measure. Why would you use an 3rd party that isn't secure?
The fees of deposting aren't that big (well not for the methods I use), so why would you put your trust in a third party if you don't know them.
Other case would be if you buy peds from an IRL friend you trust, but I don't think MA cares for that or even is able to check that out for that matter.

I think bank owners should be allowed if you see how much a virtual bank costed. Also the fact to have 100k ped ingame at all times a big security not to scam as a bank owner.
But that said, I have used bank transfer last depo (ukash down), and seeing the minimal costs 0.1%, I'm gonna do fewer depo's but bigger ones with bank transfer (minimum 100$, if you ask why)

Wow, the banhammer. Then perhaps MA should work harder to get the ATM (you know, the one that they are STILL advertising, but hasn't worked in what.. over a year??) card working?
