I had a great time even though I showed up a good 2 hours after LG started.

A nod of friendly respect to Ex Cons, you guys put up some great fights, and used some great tactics. Your persistence and cohesive attacks brought respect from me!

Not much has been mentioned about the fight for LA 9 before the joint forces of AoW and cK came in at the 4 hour mark (holy firepower, you two combined is an extremely lethal combination!). It was a blast of a time, AD and SR certainly had some very busy times with very large groups of Ex Cons making well coordinated attacks.

Gratz to those that got LAs, as the first LG I have really been a participant in (not just a bystander) I had tons of fun

Huge thanks to all that supported us be it other societies or single people coming for some action, in what is for sure the best and most fun round of LG AoW participated in yet

And yeah the tactical bit was as much fun as the actual fighting, sending out several striketeams continously to help others vs keeping your own claim safe @the same time needs to be weighted rather carefully thats for sure lol.

And a special massive thanks to DawnDaemons/Prodigies for making it both alot more enjoyable, and making things possible that would have been impossible to do on our own, respect guys and gals!

Thanks to all others who helped, especially H&R Members, and Burnsey for selling the Mod DAR . This was indeed a memorable land grab, with some of the most advanced strategy, tactics, and diplomacy EU has seen.

I had almost as much fun in the big "Counsel of War," intra/inter-society strategizing and follow-on negotiations held by the above Socs prior to LG as I did during the event. It was very satisfying to see the plan well-executed, with almost the exact results desired (except for the Warants reset, but we came very close, and could have done it except for one key tactical hesitation).

This LG should dispell some of the overly inflated emphasis on "unique" items, 300+HP and individual PK performance versus strategic and tactical acumen, alliances, reputation, and leveraging relationships (and yes, still a fair amount of equipment and skills).

Thanks again to all who helped BAHQ, and look forward to seeing you on LA 6.

I found this extremely interesting. I wonder when (or if ever) the general community will know what happened behind the scenes with the diplomacy and strategy planning. It would be a very interesting read... kinda like how the major battles of WWII are disected by historians in history books. An event such as this is a major part of the history of Calypso and PE/EU. I only hope that someday the story can and will be told.

I was briefly out at the Warants LA and I was amazed to see the assault by Shaolin & Others. I watched most of it laying on my back of course, but I expected that. I also have to say that the lag was not bad at all even when there were 100+ avatars engaged in combat. So well done MA... I hope all the naysayers realize that the postponement was the right decision and it was worth it to let whatever needed to be fixed get fixed for this.
