To be true I need to calm you down here, for many People inclusive me and some Soc Mates it really wasnt fun, so that I decided to go mining instead of taking part on this event after I tried to take part for like 20 minutes.
Main Problem were Ubers with much more as 150HP who made their Fun on costs of lower HP people who tried to take part in this Event. Lotsa People tried to bring down a RX Unit but got killed from Uber People with Uber Gear and much more then 150 HP  Those Ubers had their Fun and we normal ones tonns of losses while trying to take part in any waySadly those Ubers did not hunt inside Oil Rig PvP as the were told to do so. This way for much people this Event probably was not fun but more Uberloss because of Uber Player who wanted to disturb in any way they can. For me, I have learned that I never will take part in any events like this anymore, and hopefully lotsa people think same like me. Its best to waste Money on Mining as on the hopeless Try to take part in an Event primary disturbed by Uber Players because they were bored. Sorry MA but I cannot share your Enthusiasm here ...... You better should try to install an Option for you to make it possible to TIME-BANN Ubers who only want to proll with their Gear and try to disturb lower skilled people while an Event wich normally should be possible for Lower skilled people. Non Uber Players wouldn`t have any little chance with kinda such freekin Events wich becomes horrible instead of Fun because of Ubers who want to proll around. |

Must have missed out that "ubers killing noobs in PvP1" part.
There was some random PK going on and the ones that killed me several times while TPing did not look like they were "ubers" . Since some where from the same soc, I put the whole soc on my blacklist. Still...it was great having this event and most people followed the ethics of hunting down the enemy and not each others. |

Having taken part, and had a blast, I would like to say thanks to those at MA who organised/took part in this.
I went to PVP1 and had fun. It's to be commended that these events are organised in the hope of separating the ubers from the rest of us with sub 150HP. If this was just one event in one place I would not have even bothered to turn up, for the simple fact that I know I don't stand a farts chance in a hurricane of competing against someone in armour that is better that my best weapon. While there was some pking, most everyone there was there for the RX's not to make each others life hard. I would hope the edited post from David means that in the future there will be some form of "policing" of these events? I know what I want to say next, but will bite my tongue. |
