I really had fun this event and I learned something also with this event!

Thank you MA for having this lovely event it was so much fun, and I hope you make more of these event in the near future!

What I learned , while not being a hard core pvp player, I always thought I had a decent setup, this event allowed me to what new gear was being used and how effective or in effective they where…. Well to show what I learned I bought a XT pistol (which im maxed for the most part) and invested into a python rocket launcher (almost maxed on python)

We can all backshoot ...piss others off...etc. Most of us, including the majority of the ubers present in PvP 1 general area have better manners.

It's far from fair to tar all the guys with 150 plus health as bullies or somehow badly behaved, they weren't. It was the high/mid level guys with their shiny new (L) carbines and shinier new brains which obviously still weren't maxed.

Hate to tell you ...but I enjoyed it apart from the childish behaviour of a few.
MA would appear to have that under their consideration for future invasions, so it's been worth it in the long term if next time this type of thing works isn't it?

I hope MA aren't put off this type of thing, it's way better than nothing.

Yep, it was great fun!

A bit of random PKing, but mostly alot of cameraderie, excited shouts of "RX spotted", and gratzes to the guys who got the killshot in.

It was like a Charlie Chaplin or Benny Hill movie, with 40-50 avatars pursuing one RX: all that was missing was the chase music "da da da daa daa da da da da daa daa da da .."

Then it turned ugly. Accidental shooting was to be expected, but being deliberately shot in the back while chasing the RX was pretty lame. Vultures camping one jump out from revive was disappointing to say the least.

The talk at revive was "F$#% off to PVP2!" "Big gun, small dick" "bah, this is pointless" " I'm never coming to one of these again" etc. Some new players we convinced to come along with us had fun at the start, then got cheesed off by being repeatedly mowed down by the Mid-level cowards.

Star's appearance was fun, and created an event on it's own, handing out Korss to those who shot him.

Good job MA, but is there a way to stop the PK wankers from disrupting weaker player's fun?

The only way to allow this would be to make it impossible to pk anyone but make an event model that allows a nominated or event creator to be the only avatar allowed to be pk'd. This rule could then be used on an event LA and this could also ensure that only valid players with tickets getting into the area i.e. scanning the person asking for ticket and making sure they didn't have too much hp before they were given one, tickets would have to be non-transferable though to stop people giving them to away.

I offered 1 of my prizes back to he who was able to kill me, which it turned out wasn't going to happen until I willingly offered to stop using my fap as well. It turned out DrDoom got a crit on me but he was over 150 HP so we restarted the contest with him being the target. He had to remove his helmet for anyone to get him and finally he was slaughtered.

I hope everyone had fun, I know I did. Sorry to anyone I killed in PVP1 that didn't know or didn't want to be involved in our 2ndary contest.
I just want to add that when Mercury started his own event the 08 avatar was long gone, so the initial event was over. About the streak that bonehead from m2s made, it was actually made after the event too.

About the last shot on Doom, well thnx for taking your helmet off! I dunno how much damage i did but it was enough.

Props for Jenna offering her/his korss as price!

Me neither but don't let it stop you - just do what you can with what you've got. With the stats on Reworked Infiltrator my best weapon against RXs is a Kat Determination; and my best armour is pointless vs LR59s and XTs - so why bother with it?
It was fun down @ the rig like that for the last RX event.

I missed it, but from what I read here, it was a good event. Hope they do it again for players in other time zones.

Was fun but surely wasnt an event for midle players(skills),was for midle depositors....Even if i am in this game for more than 4 years now i didnt have any chance due to lack of money to buy midle gear, whitch i had once but thats another sad story
Well at least was something more than daily cr*p loot and bad mining run..
