During 2010 the new Mindforce system is expected to arrive to Planet Calypso. This time the concept is to release a much more complete system than the one available pre-VU10.0. While it is still a couple of months away from release, we would like to check the pulse of the community and see what kind of powers you would like to see in the next generation Calypso Mindforce system? We already have the Teleportation, Nerve Blasts, Firestorms, Wormhole and Resurrection powers, but beyond that? Maybe buffs/debuffs? Damage over time? Mezz/Stuns? Transformations? AoE? Fields? Or maybe you have some unique applications in mind?
Some basic guidelines: • Keep each entry short and to the point (very important!). • Briefly describe the effect the power is supposed to have. • Motivate why you believe it is a must-have kick-ass power. • Be on-topic, the feedback is about the powers, not the actual system. • Do not flame or criticize other entries without constructive motivations or maybe even advance an idea into something new or better or different. Stealth. definately... also known as invisibility. Would render the user invisible to other participants, mobs and include radar. Distance effect would be based on the level of the chip.

Loot vision.
If activated the darker a creature glows the better the loot. If the light pulsates it has an item. If it flashes like crazy you get a exceptional loot. ![]() For mining you see spots in the ground which hold resources. |

Creature Amping = When you use this mindforce on creature's it causes them to Raise in maturity, the higher the chip the higher the creature goes up in maturity(look at this as sort of an amp for hunter's)
I would really like to see this implemented because alot of creatures are hard to find in the prowler/stalker range! |

1. Force Field. So much ME for a said time/damage amount of protection.
2. Travel Ball. So much ME used for a certain amount of time you are in a ball that would let you travel to higher places. You cannot attack things while in ball obviously |

personally, i'd like to see hundreds of different, maybe unique, chips out there. then each person could have different MF powers that would define them. Beyond chips that could do different types of damage, heal everyone in the team, make you run faster, stun the enemy, I would include non-combat chips that would affect appearance, such as make your image phase in and out, put a decoy clone of you alongside, make you be able to see very far, make you look like a different ava, make you look like a mob, hide what armor you are wearing, etc. I would make MF chips relatively common, but have a very large amount of different kinds so that every person will have unique abilities.

Super speed!!
Similar to TP chips, only much more fun. Load up the chip, and start running. Running is 4/5 times faster than normal running. ME is used up per distance travelled, the same as petrol. Chip decay is per concentration. The process ends when your avatar stops running. ![]() |
