Im abit afraid of the factoryjob. It will probably be something like:

You worked 8 hours. (Owner got 5 new items, 'this could be secrect') Your paycheck is 2 peds. You lost 1 skill (choose your favorite) and to stop people from abusing the system by creating new caracters you will need a certain skill lvl before you can work at the factory.

well factory's will be bought by the rich folk's so that would be ubers and resellers.
implement trucking and it will be bought by the rich folks so that would be ubers and resellers.

so midlevel players and noobs don't stand a chance of owning any.
rich get richer noobs and midlevel player won't get any further up.

or you need to put un 10.000 dollar the least.




i for example found a other game that is more friendly for my wallet
like 14 dollar a month instead 200 dollar a month or more.
and i that futeristic game i can ectualy fly space ship's and such.

In the Entropia Universe you develop your avatar by gaining skills, which have a value. Skills are gained through usage, and are not based on loot.

Yeah, you can improve your chances of winning at Blackjack by increasing your skills and knowledge of the game too. It's still gambling though.

Gambling: A risk of money against the possible random result of a game of chance.

The fact that the odds are not mentioned does not change the fact that it is gambling. The fact that our skills increase our chances VERY slightly does not change the fact that it is gambling. The fact that you try to imply that it is not gambling without ever commiting yourself to saying that it isn't, does not change the fact that it is gambling.

Do you realize how big the difference is when you use an IMK II with 50% min damage compared to a Jester with 25% min dmg?

Dmg/pec + skills makes all the difference, my friend.

When will these damn annoying delay issues be fixed? It's hard to hunt out there and it makes my eyes hurt by moving around, always relog etc. Is this the way we have to play now?

Very indirect and vague on most questions. Not a very good tap dance around the issues IMO. Only the most obvious questions, which answeres can be found already, were answered with any validity. I would expect nothing less from corporate POWER MONGERS. "Its on our road map", and "I can't provide any further info" (my personal favorite line of BS) simply aren't good enough.

YES IT IS GAMBLING!!!!!!! No matter what kind of BS you try to feed to the general masses. Most people are aware of this and ok with it. I've always been taught, If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck and quacks like a duck, IT MUST BE A DUCK!!!!!!!! THIS IS ABSOLUTELY GAMBLING. Calling it anything else is a blatant lie

I regretfully have devulged to much time and money into this system and can only wish that others dont do the same. With all attention being on investors and ubers and very little on everyone else, I think this should be avoided like the plague.

To say that a problem has overlapping subproblems is to say that the same subproblems are used to solve many different larger problems. For example, in the Fibonacci sequence, F3 = F1 + F2 and F4 = F2 + F3 — computing each number involves computing F2. Because both F3 and F4 are needed to compute F5, a naïve approach to computing F5 may end up computing F2 twice or more. This applies whenever overlapping subproblems are present: a naïve approach may waste time recomputing optimal solutions to subproblems it has already solved.

In order to avoid this, we instead save the solutions to problems we have already solved. Then, if we need to solve the same problem later, we can retrieve and reuse our already-computed solution. This approach is called memoization (not memorization, although this term also fits). If we are sure we won't need a particular solution anymore, we can throw it away to save space. In some cases, we can even compute the solutions to subproblems we know that we'll need in advance.

Just a comment I wanna make regarding "MMM Publishing could probably answer the question better as to when the second edition will be released. You can find their contact details in the first issue of The Entropian.":

MMM Publishing is not answering emails. I tried to contact them, as well as other people did. I have never heard of someone getting a reply.
